It's all about doing more business and more Giving Back. REBSEA membership is
INCLUSIVE of all real estate agents and businesses who Give Back to the environment and to
the communities they serve in every way, shape, and form. REBSEA aims to do this with as few
rules and guidelines for membership as possible, while maintaining programs and procedures
designed to encourage and enable more support for non profit organizations directly from the
business activities of its members. This is the essence of Social Enterprise; to combine a
sustainable business model with a social benefit. Social Enterprise should always be a Win-Win
situation.
The Real Estate & Business Social Enterprises Association, REBSEA, a 501(c)(6) non profit
trade association, was created for the purpose of driving more business to its members so that
they can do more Giving Back. This is accomplished in at least three ways:
1) REBSEA is creating a Directory of all real estate agents and businesses who Give Back, state
by state, in every city and town. Our Founders and Members will each have a full page or more
in the Directory to explain their business, their involvement in Giving Back, and can be as
specific as they choose to be as to the details and terms of their support for non profit
organizations. Each REBSEA Member agrees to honor the terms they have outlined in their
profile in the Directory whether they be very general or specific. Because REBSEA is inclusive
of all the ways its members choose to Give Back there will be a broad range of business models
within the Directory. REBSEA will be driving the public to the Directory by utilizing the internet
in various ways such as social media campaigns Google +1, Facebook, Linked-In and email
blasts, blogging ( see recent examples: Blog NonProfit Information, BlogDailyProperties
BlogRealEstateSocialEnterprises ) and by issuing press releases and using the media on a regular
ongoing basis. REBSEA will also leverage its growing relationships with various organizations
to include their spheres of influence in these campaigns. When the public finds you and reads
about you in the Directory REBSEA has accomplished its primary goal and its Members will
deal with these leads and referrals in the way they deem appropriate and as outlined in their
profile. With this minimum of rules and guidelines we are confident that REBSEA will have a
dynamic impact on support for the non profit organizations in the communities served by its
Members.
2) REBSEA works with national and international Non Profit Organizations to do direct
fundraising for them. They inform their local chapters from coast to coast that whenever any of
their supporters are going to buy or sell a property they can choose to work with a REBSEA
Member by using our MEMBERSHIP DIRECTORY. At closing they will receive a donation
from the real estate agent or their client of 20% of the commission generated from the sale. This
is essentially like giving a 'referral fee' to a non profit instead of another real estate agent.
REBSEA wants to make this a common practice as a new way of generating funds for NPOs.
National Non Profits such as the American Cancer Society, Habitat for Humanity, Muscular
Dystrophy Association, National Resources Defense Council, and Charity:Water have been
recipients of donations from our Founding Members. Additionally, local Non Profit
Organizations such as the Escondito Humane Society, Clark County Food Bank, and Boys &
Girls Club of Greater Kingsport are recipients of donations by our Founders.
3) As the REBSEA network spreads across the land we will have a natural referral network made
up of like minded people who share a conviction about Giving Back. Our clients who are re-
locating or buying vacation or retirement properties can already find REBSEA Founders in all of
the states that Baby Boomers are flocking to for these purposes. This includes Florida, North
Carolina, Arizona, and California to name a few. According to Census Bureau statistics 36
Million people moved in 2012, with many moving to states with high income levels such as:
New Jersey, Connecticut, Hawaii, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Alaska, Virginia, California,
Delaware, Minnesota, Rhode Island, Colorado, Illinois, and New York. In keeping with our
minimal rules and guidelines, all referral arrangements will be determined by the participating
Members. Each situation is unique and we know that only good can come from this approach.
REBSEA is a Win-Win-Win-Win program. There are 4 Winners:
1) The real estate agent or business who gets business that they might otherwise not have,
along with enhancing their brand with positive publicity and public relations.
2) The client who gets to facilitate a donation to a cause they care about without any cost to
themselves.
3) The non profit who gets donations that they otherwise would not have and gets to add to their
list of donors.
4) AND THE BIGGEST WINNER OF ALL: THE PERSON WHO RECEIVES THE
BENEFITS
AND SERVICES FROM THE NON PROFIT ORGANIZATION FROM FUNDS THAT
THEY WOULD NOT OTHERWISE HAVE HAD.
Please consider joining REBSEA as one of our Founders before we begin offering membership
to real estate agents and businesses who are not currently Giving Back. It is important to
understand that REBSEA is being founded by ALL real estate agents who have been Giving
Back to the environment and the communities they serve prior to 2013. Be a Founder of an

Overview
The Real Estate & Business Social Enterprises Association represents and promotes the
businesses of those who Give Back to their communities through their business. THIS IS
SOCIAL ENTERPRISE. More business means more Giving Back. We do this by:
1) Nonprofits refer their supporters to our network of members who donate to the
Nonprofit at closing. This is like getting a referral from a Nonprofit instead of a Realtor.
2) We drive traffic to our website and to our Members from socially conscious consumers
who prefer to do business with people and companies who Give Back. These leads and
referrals our members handle as they deem appropriate.
3) We are a national network of like minded real estate agents who refer business to
each other. We work together to promote Social Enterprise in our communities.
The premise of this first issue of the REBSEA Newsletter is that Social
Enterprise is transforming commerce as we know it. It is happening in many
sectors of our society and our economy.

Non Profits receive Donations from Members of Real Estate Trade Association

  • 1. REBSEA www.rebsea.org 855-352-4973 It's all about doing more business and more Giving Back. REBSEA membership is INCLUSIVE of all real estate agents and businesses who Give Back to the environment and to the communities they serve in every way, shape, and form. REBSEA aims to do this with as few rules and guidelines for membership as possible, while maintaining programs and procedures designed to encourage and enable more support for non profit organizations directly from the business activities of its members. This is the essence of Social Enterprise; to combine a sustainable business model with a social benefit. Social Enterprise should always be a Win-Win situation. The Real Estate & Business Social Enterprises Association, REBSEA, a 501(c)(6) non profit trade association, was created for the purpose of driving more business to its members so that they can do more Giving Back. This is accomplished in at least three ways: 1) REBSEA is creating a Directory of all real estate agents and businesses who Give Back, state by state, in every city and town. Our Founders and Members will each have a full page or more in the Directory to explain their business, their involvement in Giving Back, and can be as specific as they choose to be as to the details and terms of their support for non profit organizations. Each REBSEA Member agrees to honor the terms they have outlined in their profile in the Directory whether they be very general or specific. Because REBSEA is inclusive of all the ways its members choose to Give Back there will be a broad range of business models

REBSEA will be driving the public to the Directory by utilizing the internet in various ways such as social media campaigns Google +1, Facebook, Linked-In and email blasts, blogging ( see recent examples: Blog NonProfit Information, BlogDailyProperties BlogRealEstateSocialEnterprises ) and by issuing press releases and using the media on a regular ongoing basis. REBSEA will also leverage its growing relationships with various organizations to include their spheres of influence in these campaigns. When the public finds you and reads about you in the Directory REBSEA has accomplished its primary goal and its Members will deal with these leads and referrals in the way they deem appropriate and as outlined in their profile. With this minimum of rules and guidelines we are confident that REBSEA will have a dynamic impact on support for the non profit organizations in the communities served by its Members. 2) REBSEA works with national and international Non Profit Organizations to do direct fundraising for them. They inform their local chapters from coast to coast that whenever any of their supporters are going to buy or sell a property they can choose to work with a REBSEA Member by using our MEMBERSHIP DIRECTORY. At closing they will receive a donation from the real estate agent or their client of 20% of the commission generated from the sale. This is essentially like giving a 'referral fee' to a non profit instead of another real estate agent. REBSEA wants to make this a common practice as a new way of generating funds for NPOs. National Non Profits such as the American Cancer Society, Habitat for Humanity, Muscular Dystrophy Association, National Resources Defense Council, and Charity:Water have been recipients of donations from our Founding Members. Additionally, local Non Profit Organizations such as the Escondito Humane Society, Clark County Food Bank, and Boys & Girls Club of Greater Kingsport are recipients of donations by our Founders. 3) As the REBSEA network spreads across the land we will have a natural referral network made up of like minded people who share a conviction about Giving Back. Our clients who are re- locating or buying vacation or retirement properties can already find REBSEA Founders in all of the states that Baby Boomers are flocking to for these purposes. This includes Florida, North Carolina, Arizona, and California to name a few. According to Census Bureau statistics 36 Million people moved in 2012, with many moving to states with high income levels such as: New Jersey, Connecticut, Hawaii, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Alaska, Virginia, California, Delaware, Minnesota, Rhode Island, Colorado, Illinois, and New York. In keeping with our minimal rules and guidelines, all referral arrangements will be determined by the participating Members. Each situation is unique and we know that only good can come from this approach. REBSEA is a Win-Win-Win-Win program. There are 4 Winners: 1) The real estate agent or business who gets business that they might otherwise not have, along with enhancing their brand with positive publicity and public relations. 2) The client who gets to facilitate a donation to a cause they care about without any cost to themselves. 3) The non profit who gets donations that they otherwise would not have and gets to add to their list of donors. 4) AND THE BIGGEST WINNER OF ALL: THE PERSON WHO RECEIVES THE BENEFITS

It is important to understand that REBSEA is being founded by ALL real estate agents who have been Giving Back to the environment and the communities they serve prior to 2013.
