1. EDINSON RODRIGUEZ-CASTAÑO
LEAD FACILITATOR
Edinson Rodriguez-Castaño was born in Santiago de Cali, Colombia and is based in
Westchester, NY. He passionately works for the empowerment of individuals and communities
through facilitated dialogue, athletics and empowerment workshops.
Through his work with the Eileen Fisher Leadership Institute (EFLI) he has developed Leading
From Within, the boys program of the institute. He has facilitated numerous groups of young
people in topics such as leadership development, confidence building, embodiment, civic
engagement and mindfulness practices. As a Level 2 U.S. Swim Coach and certified Water
Safety Instructor, Edinson has coached hundreds of young swimmers to set and achieve their
personal goals over the last decade.
Edinson continues to support existing programs and develop new ones with EFLI by
contributing his creative mindset, background in embodiment practices such as dance and
percussion and his continued desire to learn and grow. He actively continues his trainings in
methods such as Theatre of the Oppressed, Creative Facilitation, Presencing and Theory U,
Social Presencing Theater, and Life Purpose work with Marcelo Cardoso. As a graduate of
SUNY Purchase holding a B.A. in Language & Culture and Latin American Studies, Edinson
brings his love for culture, social justice and connecting people across perceived boundaries to
each part of his work. He actively seeks out new partners to grow the work of empowering and
improving individual lives and communities.
