Who We Are:
The Dynamic DIVA’s is a women’s empowerment
group that was organized to help strengthen local
communities and partner with non-profits / charitable
organizations by working to address issues that
affect teenage girls and women. Our aim is to
introduce and/or inspire women by empowering,
uplifting and recognizing their strength and beauty
both inwardly and outwardly.
Upcoming Events:
Dynamic DIVA’s Annual Holiday Gathering
Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Forty-Five
Degrees Martini Lounge & Bar located at Orchard
Square, 1400 Kempsville Road, Chesapeake,
Virginia 23320.
Festivities start at 7:30pm, cover charge of $5.00
after 8:30pm. Come join the DIVA’s as they enjoy
live performance for the band Tunnel Vision.
"For without the support of each of you - We as non-
profits cannot protect, feed, heal, shelter, educate,
and nurture bodies and spirits within our
communities. We cannot give shape to the boldest
dreams, highest ideals, and noblest causes. As
non-profits we turn beliefs into action - as promoters
of democracy, champions of the common good,
incubators of innovation, laboratories of
leadership, responders in times of trouble,
and weavers of community fabric. And for your
continued support the Dynamic DIVA's of Virginia
humbly thanks each of you."
DIVA’s Deliver
Year End community activities are still ongoing as the
DIVA’s are hosting families for the Department of
Human Services for the City of Virginia Beach to
become a part of the Adopt a Family program for
Christmas, where we could prepare holiday food
baskets and holiday presents for the children. Thank
you those who donated to assist with the project. It
will truly be a Merry Christmas for our families.
Thank you to Michelle Streuli for all she does.
Keeping in stride and the spirit, the DIVA’s began
preparations for Annual Thanksgiving Dinner for the
YWCA families on Friday, November 2015
It was a wonderful dinner with the YWCA South
Hampton Roads families and staff. We would like to
thank the MRMC Norfolk, Asia-Symone of 88.1
WHOV, Ashley Smith of WVEC , Patrice Berkley &
family, the Tabb Family, Jr, DIVA's Dominque Lee &
Trevlyn White or coming out and supporting the
Dynamic DIVA's, and Omari Baker for the
inspirational blessing at dinner.. The women &
children had a GREAT time. The food was excellent,
laughter, love, singing, hugs and celebration. The
DIVA's could have not made this happen without the
support of family and friends. We APPRECIATE YOU
ALL

During the holiday season the Dynamic DIVA’s are
continually directing their energies and pursuits to
embracing the community and those underserved by
reaching out the Department of Human Services for
the City of Virginia Beach to become a part of the
Adopt a Family program, where we could prepare
holiday food baskets. We are excited about the
family and senior citizen assigned to us – for we all
could remember someone in our life who was in need
during the holiday season. Again, thank you to
Michelle Streuli for all she does.
The next stop for the Dynamic DIVA’s was the
Southeastern Food Bank, where the DIVA’s
packaged 208 boxes for families. It was a great time
working with other companies, listening to music and
working up a sweat for an importance cause.

Keeping It Beatuiful was the next project taken on by
the Dynamic DIVA’s. With the partnership bewteen
the YWCA and the DIVA’s. it was agreed that the
DIVA’s would give the local shelter a “facelift”.
The DIVA’s painted apartments for families who are
victims of domestic abuse and putting down mulch
for the children’s playground. In addition, the group
will be presenting baskets with household items for
the families, blankets, bed linen, and baby baskets
for mothers with infants & toddlers.
With the service of the Masonic Riders, Norfolk
Chapter – they came and picked up paint brushes,
brooms and mulch and jumped right in with the
DIVA’s. We were appreciative of the article written
by Alexandra Harris of the Virginia Pilot about our
efforts.. http://vpjschool.com/2015/07/02/local-group-

In New York City, DIVA Terri Smith walked in the
2015 NYC Multiple Scierosis Walk
Multiple Scierosis (MS), is a disease that damages
the myelin coating around the nerve fibers in the
central nervous system (CNS) and to the nerve fibers
themselves interferes with the transmission of nerve
signals between the brain, spinal cord and the rest of
the body. Disrupting nerve signals cause the
symptoms of MS, which vary from one person to
another and over time for any given individual,
depending on where the damage occurs.
MS happens to families, not just to individuals, which
is why the DIVA’s wanted to be apart of this walk and
raise awareness.
Renewed Empowerment is what makes the DIVA’s
efforts worthwhile. We eagerly participated in a
“makeover”event for the women temporarily residing
at the YWCA Domestic Violence shelter.
Pampering was the mission, the ladies were met with
lunch, desserts to enjoy as they had their makeup
and hair done for glamour photoshoot. The DIVA’s
spoke from their hearts anc provided the ladies
enocouragement, lauhs and smiles. Thank you to
Ms. Alisha Newman and Janessa Lewis for reaching
out to the DIVA’s.

Dynamic Year in Review:
As we come upon 2015 year end. It has been
overwhelming with support, commitment and
recognition. The DIVA’s have been introduced to so
many people, organizations with the same goal
“empowering our youth and communities”, and
entered into flourishing partnerships.
Most importantly, we have focused our energy of
promoting the inner beauty that all our young ladies
and women have, so that their personal strength and
affirmations will exhibit outwardly. Below are
organizations or companies who have embraced the
DIVA’s
We THANK YOU for embracing US!!!!!!
