On April 20th, 2018, Salesforce is changing the functionality of its Web-to-Case and Web-to-Lead products and requiring code updates. If the code updates are not made, Web-to-Case and Web-to-Lead will cease to function. This webinar from Lunar, a Salesforce consultancy and SaaS products company, explains why this is a big deal, what your options are, and provides a course of action along with detailed instructions.

● Old endpoint stops working April 20th, 2018
● Salesforce Help Article
8. Why it’s a BIG Deal
● Do you know if you’re using W2L or W2C?
● These technologies have been available for
years. Many companies have set up their
forms years ago and aren’t aware if the
technologies are currently being used
● Users of third party tools like Gravity Forms
or Wordpress Plugins ARE NOT SAFE
9. Why it’s a BIG Deal
● Websites using the W2C/W2L forms will cease to create new cases and
leads within your Salesforce org if websites are not updated with the new
endpoint URL
● NO NEW CASES
● NO NEW LEADS
● Minutes/Hours/Days/Months
○ How much would this cost you?
10. 4 Options to Fix It
● DIY
● Marketing Automation via Pardot

12. DIY
● Do a global search across the website HTML code for these code snippets:
● Replace the “www” with “webto” on every form so that the “form action”
URLs in the Web-to-Case and Web-to-Lead HTML code display as such:
● Test the creation of new cases or leads in your production org prior to
pushing the updated HTML code to your production website.
13. DIY
