Teen 1 decides to walk through the woods despite his friends' warnings of strange occurrences. He hears noises and sees a silhouette sprint by. The next day, Teen 1 and friends Teen 2 and 3 go into the woods to investigate. They meet up with Teen 4, who argues with Teen 3, causing conflict. While in the woods, they hear screams and footsteps. Teen 4 and 3 storm off. A call is received on the phone saying "you're next" before cutting out. They discover two bodies and the murderer attacks, killing Teen 2. Teen 1 fights and kills the murderer, crying over the loss of his best friend Teen 2 until police arrive.

Title: In the woods.

Setting: Will be set mostly in the woods but will have certain scenes in houses, streets
and surrounding areas of the woods.
Time period- Modern.
Narrative/ significant plot moments: “Teen 1” is out with friends “teen 2 and 3”,
whilst walking home he decides to walk through the woods. They warn him not to
because of the strange things that have been happening in the woods recently. He
ignores them and walks through anyway, whilst walking through strange things begin
to happen. He begins to hear screaming, shouting and faintly hears people talking. He
begins to hear faint footsteps which get louder and faster and then he sees a silhouette
of a person sprint through the woods in front of him leading him to panic and
sprinting out of the woods. When he gets home he rings the two he was out with and
tells them what had happened whilst walking through the woods they then decide that
the next day they are going to go into the woods and see if anything happens or find
out what it was. The next day “Teen 1” continuously rings his friends to make sure it
is still happening and then checking he has everything he needs, then deciding he is
going to record it all whilst they are there. He meets his bestfriend “teen 2” and then
walks to meet “teen 3” who turns out to be with “Teen 4” who does not get on with
“Teen 1” leading to him kicking off and arguing with “teen 3” about why he is there
causing conflict within the group until “Teen 2” makes them all shut up and get on
with what they’re supposed to be doing. They cut through the fence and begin to walk
across the field, they are all having a joke and winding each other up when they hear a
scream. They all go silent and look around until “teen 2” sees someone turn and walk
into the woods, assuming it was the person that screamed they go after them. Once
they get into the woods they can no longer see the person so they begin to start
looking around, whilst they are looking around they start hearing screaming, shouting,
footsteps, they think they can see people and feel things until someone screams
claiming that someone grabbed him. This causes and argument and forces “teen 4” to
storm off and “teen 3” chasing him. They carry on as normal until they hear a scream
then they decide to ring them, someone answers the phone and all they can hear is
deep breathing then a menacing laugh and a voice says “you’re next” they hear the
phone hit the floor and then a voice screaming run when the phone cuts off. They
decide to run and get help, suddenly realising they are lost they begin to just walk in
one direction and hope to find a way out when they discover two bodies with “teen
3”’s bat next to it. They pick up the bat and decide to ring the police and then go
looking for the murderer. They eventually find him and attack him leading to them
thinking they have killed him, they see the exit and as they walk out the murdered
grabs “Teen 2” by the throat and stabs him so “teen 1” attacks the murderer, knocking
the knife away with the bat and then attacking him and finally killing him. He runs to
his best friend “dramatic last words” he begins to cry at the loss of his bestfriend and

then the police show up.
