7. FEAR OF DEATH
• If someone is foreseeing the death, he/she
can be motivated by assuring him survival or
better conditions after death.
• Accepting death as normal can overpower
the fear of death but very difficult to adopt.
• Chance of survival acts as a motivator.
• Uncontrollable fear becomes a de-motivator.

8. MOTIVATOR
• Suppose soldiers are backing out looking to
large army of the enemy. A commander may
surrender along with his soldier getting de-
motivated with he large army of the enemy
as he may have fear of death on fighting.
• If the commander is able to persuade his
soldiers that they would be treated as
heroes, soldiers may overcome the fear of
death.

9. MOTIVATOR
If someone is told about his death, he/she
either may get fear of death. He/she may
become highly de-motivated and leave to
work altogether or get motivated to
complete unfinished works what he/she
wanted to do.

10. FEAR OF UNKNOWN
• Fear of unknown may be due to fear of safety
due to unknown conditions.
• Condition can be converted into motivated
conditions in case fear of unsafe conditions can
be removed. For example, suppose someone is
having fear of going to unknown place. If you
arrange someone to receive him or her in
unknown place, it acts as a motivator.
• It acts as a de-motivator if unsafe conditions are
flared up which becomes uncontrollable for
him/her.

11. FEAR OF LOSS
• Loss may be of money, relation, property,
job, relatives, near and dear ones, life, image,
dignity, reputation, social boycott, and so on.
• If someone promises to remove fear of loss
or something can remove fear of loss, it acts
as a motivator.
• It can become de-motivator if someone feels
avoid of loss is uncontrollable.

12. FEAR OF LOSS
• Many managers use fear of loss of job as an
instrument to get the work done from the
employees. The fear to lose the job becomes
a motivator for the employee.
• In case someone becomes sure of not able to
cope up with the work, the fear acts as a de-
motivator.

13. FEAR OF PAIN
• Fear of pain is used by police personnel to get
the information from the culprits.
• A lady though may have the fear of pain during
child birth but overcomes due to expectancy of
child birth. Thus fear of pain can be a motivator
in case after come of pain is good.
• A child may have fear of pain due to injection
given by the doctor and if he experiences pain, it
may become de-motivator for him.
• If fear of pain is expected as supplementary to
worse conditions, it may become a de-
motivator.

14. FEAR OF NON-ACHIEVER
• Fear of non achiever acts as a motivator till
there is a hope of achieving it.
• If some target is given to an employee not
easily achievable, he can work hard to
achieve to avoid a tag of non-achiever on
him.
• In case, one is sure not to achieve it or fails to
achieve, it can become a de-motivator.

15. FEAR OF SURVIVAL
• Everyone wants to survive and thus fear of
un-survival has a great effect on human
beings.
• If one feels fear of survival, he can work very
hard and fear acts as a great motivator.
• If one fails frequently, it can become de-
motivator also and leads to extreme
unwanted conditions like suicide.

16. FEAR OF FEAR
• Fear of fear may be due to any fear in
someone else and learnt from him/her
• Fear is not experienced by individual but if
he/she is told that fear can destroy him/her
or is detrimental, from “fear” itself one may
have fear.
• It may certainly be a de-motivator and can
lead to disaster

17. FEAR MAY CONVERT INTO FOBIA AND THEN
IT ENTERS INTO THE BODY PERMANENTLY. IT
BECOMES DIFFICULT TO REMOVE FOBIA AND
ONE HAS TO WORK HARD FOR ITS REMOVAL.
EFFECT OF FEAR IS MORE ON EXPERIENCING
THAN OF HEARING OR READING OR
WATCHING.
