1. Developing Predictive Decision Models for Sustainable
Development
The topic of my research
Developing techniques for generating
predictive models that promotes
sustainable development. With the aid of
predictive models the noisy and
incomplete information of past events are
analyzed in order to provide insight into
the decisions to be made. This would
indeed provide the ability to develop and
grow in a more sustainable direction.
With the aid of data sciences, the past
events are to be analyzed in order to
provide the vision about our future
decisions and actions.
My current research
At our research lab we are focusing on sustainable development in urban
transportation. Due to our low budget of computation, predictive modeling and multi-
criteria decision-analysis are proposed as our innovative technological advancements
for optimal concept design. By mining the empirical data, obtained from already
existing systems, and simultaneously considering the multiple design criteria, the
characteristics of a more sustainable concept is accordingly predicted.
