Goldberg's Auto Parts is served by more than fifty different accounts, each with its own
sales
representative, company name, corporate address, and shipping address. As a shipping
and receiving clerk at Goldberg's, you are required to return defective merchandise to the
manufacturer.
Standard procedure for returning an item begins with your written request to the company
for authorization. Always send the request to the corporate address, not to the shipping
address. Unless the company file folder contains a form for this procedure, write a business
letter to the manufacturer supplying the item's stock number, cost, and invoice number; the
date it was received; and the reason for its return.
The manufacturer's reply will include an authorization number from the sales
representative, a sticker for you to place on the outside of the box to identify it as an
authorized return, and a closing date for the company's acceptance of the returned item. If
you do not attach the provided sticker, your returned box will be refused by the
manufacturer as unauthorized, and you will need to obtain a new letter, authorization,
sticker, and closing date. Always send a returned box to the shipping address, not to the
company's corporate address.
CHOOSE AND ANSWER
According to the policy shown, what should you do if you lose an authorization
sticker?
1) Send a request for a return authorization along with the rejected part
directly to the manufacturer's shipping address.
2) Send a request for return authorization along with the rejected part
directly to the manufacturer's corporate address.
3) Repeat the standard procedure to obtain a new letter, authorization,
sticker, and closing date.
4) Use a sticker from another company's folder.
5) Send the rejected part to your sales representative.

affect the durability of the road. Based on the diagram and table shown, what is the
shrink-swell potential at a 30-inch depth for this soil? ANSWER:

Editor's Notes

  1. Explain that it was in the requirement section of the application.
  2. Explain that card comes in the mail after testing. 4-6 weeks
  3. Explain that most people receive the silver or gold and that the platinum is for highly educated individuals such as Doctors and Scientists. Explain that percentages means the skill level for the percentage of jobs currently in the current work force.
  4. Questions are asked in typical work place situations and have 5 answers to choose from. Each level builds on the previous levels.
  5. Level 3 only had one step to solve the answer and level 6 had four steps to solve the answer.
  6. Questions are asked in typical work place situations and have 5 answers to choose from. Each level builds on the previous levels.
  7. Simple Directions
  8. Complex Directions
  9. Questions are asked in typical work place situations and have 5 answers to choose from. Each level builds on the previous levels. Notice there are only 4 levels in this section.
  10. Simple Graphic
  11. More than one complex graphic to achieve the correct answer. These are not math problems and there are no formulas involved.
  12. The NCRC is National and employers acknowledge it all over the United States. You can go to the ACT website and actually see what occupations you are suited for with your scores. Or you can see what areas you need to study for to get the job you want! People change professions on the average of 6 times in their lifetime.
  13. Your time is worth it with the advantages the NCRC will bring to you. This is a requirement and must be taken as a Public Safety Project participant. You can take individual sections over again. If you really have time constraints, you can take each section separately and receive all your scores when all three are complete. The study tests have very similar test questions that are on the actual test.
  14. Take the practice test!
