2. This lesson will focus on learning how to combine
three famous artworks together so that they look
like one complete piece of artwork.
How will you do this...read on!
3. As you begin to research artworks you
should keep in mind that you will be
combining three artworks or parts of
them into one final piece so they look like
they belong together. See example
below of “Selfie with The Scream, Mona
Lisa, and Girl with a Pearl Earring”.
You can have a theme, be funny, scary
or sad…you have a lot of freedom to
create! You can also add things to
communicate your ideas, or message,
like the cell phone, and the students
peace sign with a picture of a hand in this
artwork.
4. Art history web sites for research
These are only a few sites you can use to look for artworks. You can look for art on other sites but you
must be able to document and list the artist name, title of work, size, date created, and medium. Along
with a copy of the original artwork. If you cannot find this information then don’t use it!
Also let me remind you that some of the sites may contain visual nude imagery, if you cannot handle this
maturely don’t view it, don’t point it out or share it with others!!! (I mentioned this in your syllabus)

5. What next?
As you are researching visual images you will need to copy and paste the images
into this presentation (make a copy before you start work on this presentation).
You will create at least three slides (you can have more as you collect art to
consider for your project) add a visual of the artwork, drawing, painting, print…
add the artist's name, title, size, date created, and medium. Should look like the
example slide below (don’t use this artwork!)
You must use 3 different artworks from three different artists. You can mix and
match art history time periods (renaissance, modern art and indian art - as an
example) Make sure they work together to communicate your ideas.
Your project will be created on the ipad, you will find the artworks on google, save
them to the camera roll and import them to SBE to transform dn merge images.
