To whom it may concern:
I am writing to strongly recommend Disha Wagh for graduate programs or for employment.
In addition to teaching for the Boston University semester in Washington program, I am a public
policy fellow at the Woodrow Wilson Center for International Scholars, a living memorial for
President Woodrow Wilson. Disha was student in my spring 2016 Boston University class on
American Decision Making in the Global Era. As part of the class she made an excellent
presentation on the economic strategies of the four Asian Tigers (Hong Kong, Singapore, South
Korea, and Taiwan).
She was equally adept in handling final exam questions that ranged from the argument over
America’s relative decline to an analysis of the Tran-Pacific Partnership trade agreement.
Singapore emphasizes English and she completed the International Baccalaureate program in
high school. It shows – her spoken and written English is excellent. She has Indian roots; she
has lived in Indonesia and Singapore, and studied in the United States. Disha is the model of the
21st
century global citizen.
Her academic major is in marketing and she will be good at it. She may well seek business
experience before pursuing her interest in a graduate business degree. She will be a real asset to
any employer or any graduate program. I am expecting great things from her.
If you want any additional information, I would be pleased to speak to you. My contact
information is included below.
Sincerely,
Kent H. Hughes
