oxygen) with disinfectant , deodorizing and
astringent property
• Has antipruritic and anti inflammatory effect
• Available as dark purple / Black crystals at cost

4. POTASSIUM PERMANGANATE
CONDY’S COMPRESSES
• 1:10000 solution 2-3 times per day
• 400 mg to be diluted in 4 l to make 1:10,000 solution
• OR
• 1-2 specks of crystals to 2L of water
• Patients advised to dilute till the colour is light pink matching a normal
healthy nail bed
• Gauze soaked for 15min TDS ( after 15min get oxidized)
• Hastens removal of crusts

• 1 crystal added to water till color of nail bed
• 1:25, 000 solution BD bath for 2 days (2gm/50l)
