Drug major Dr Reddys Laboratories Ltd on Monday said it has launched heart drug, Nitroglycerin sublingual tablets, in the US market on
August 26, 2016. Nitroglycerin sublingual tablets USP, 0.3 mg, 0.4 mg and 0.6 mg, is a therapeutic equivalent generic version of Nitrostat
sublingual tablets, it said. The company further said that, the drug has been approved by the US health regulator, US FDA. The Nitrostat
(Nitroglycerin) sublingual tablet brand had US sales of approx USD 108 million MAT for the most recent twelve months ending in March
2016accordingtoIMSHealth.
