William Shakespeare was an English playwright, poet and actor born in 1564 in Stratford-upon-Avon who wrote famous plays such as Hamlet which included the famous line "to be or not to be" and Romeo and Juliet. He acted in the Globe Theatre in London and died on May 3, 1616, the same day as the Spanish author Miguel de Cervantes.
