The children at GPS Asif Nagar D/N school felt that seasonal diseases were spreading in their area. They developed a plan to raise awareness in their community through cultural activities and a rally. They met with the community leader, who supported their idea. The children then went door-to-door explaining how to prevent diseases, played a drama about hygiene, and sang songs promoting hygiene. They encouraged proper waste disposal and drinking boiled water to prevent diseases like dengue.

It’s a feel by GPS Asif Nagar D/N children:
The children in GPS Asif Nagar D/N felt about the spread of seasonal diseases in
their area. They identified some diseases and discussed among themselves. They planned
to aware the people on this issue.
An Imagination of the children:
The children met the Community Leader and discussed about the problem. They
told the leader that they will motivate the community people through a cultural activity
and a Rally. The leader felt happy about the idea of the children and encouraged them.
An Implementation of the Idea:
A large amount of Garbage is de composed in the area and very bad smell is
coming out in that area. Pigs are moving around the garbage.
One house holder is preparing a bio fertilizer with buffalo dunk in his house.
Because of that, large numbers of mosquitoes are growing.
• The children went around the streets of Dattatreya Colony and visited the
houses.
• They explained about how to take care of themselves in this situation.
• Explained to the families about the different diseases that are spreading in
the season..
• Explained about the preventive methods.
• The children played a drama about seasonal diseases
• Played the Dance and sang some songs about hygiene.
• Asked the community people not to throw garbage here and there.
• The children told them to drink boiled and filtered water. Keep some
compulsory medicines and Oral Re-hydration Salts along with them.
• Explained the symptoms of Dengue and Swine Flue.
• Explained to take care of small children and old people.
