The DSI Graduation Day 2018 is being held on Saturday the 11th

Three thousand professionals from over a dozen disciplines and
specialties will be seen marching out from the portals of the DSI
Campus.

The response internally and externally should reflect the mood, dignity
and ambience of the event: maturity levels that all of you possess.
As grown up citizens you now reflect a new culture and a new feeling
while walking out of the campus as proud DSIans, having successfully
crossed one important milestone in your lives.
Registration: Please come to the campus at 12.00 noon for registration and a rehearsal on the appointed day. Register your
name at the main entrance. Registration is open by email. Please confirm your participation and also confirm if your
parents would join you at the event and dinner latest by 4.00 pm on 8th August 2018. Information on registration should be
sentto yourrespectiveHODs/Principals.
Seating: You will occupy the designated seat in two specially erected
Grand Stands on either side of the Foot Ball Ground - for Engineering
and all other programmes. The grand stand will be enclosed on three
sides and your movement would be restricted to go on stage to
receive the medals if you are a university rank holder, and certificate
forhaving completedthe programatDSI, whenyournameiscalled.

registration counters at the main entrance and move to
therehearsal.
Assembleat the designatedplace:
OppositeDentalCollege /Hospital.
Receive graduation dress: gowns and caps
Photography is permitted with your special graduation
dress in as many groups but all of which should be over
by sharp4.00pm.
A student volunteer holding a placard indicating the
respective branch for easy identification will lead each
unit. You have to be part of that group and march in
a column and in a row/file of threes. HoDs and faculty
of respective departments will stay close to the
graduating batches toensureorderly flow ofthe event.

Graduation March:
The Graduation March for Engineering would start by the
Conveno and move out of the college via the Dental College
gate beside Vijaya Bank and again enter the main gate of the
Campus walking through as the Army Band leads the college-
department units to reach the football ground. All other
programmes under BU and RGUHS will start at the ICSE school
/ DSBS with the military band in the lead and enter the football
ground.
At this stage the Chief Guest, Guest of Honour accompanied by
the Chairman / Vice Chairman and other dignitaries will lead
the Graduation March.

Presentation of DSI Graduation Day Certificates signifying completion of the formal academic program.
This activity will be done at two ends: on the left and right sides of the dais. The right side will be for
Engineering and the left for all other majoring students; both groups should come to the stage swiftly from
their respective sides and return to their seats after collecting the certificates. At strategic points - still and
video cameras are placed to ensure that your coming onto the stage is captured. You will also be seen on
themain screen whileon stage.
