To Whom It May Concern:
I have known David Fikes for three years. Through this time period, we have had the opportunity to
serve in many local and global service projects and have grown very close in our friendship.
David and I first met when we were on a team of people from our church traveling to China in 2011.
One of the main purposes of this trip was to host and facilitate a business seminar for young
professionals in a large city in Central China. David was an instrumental component of that team and
his business background and acumen enabled our team to engage our audience effectively.
Some of the different capacities that David and I serve together include a business mentoring
program with Partners Worldwide (PW). PW is an organization that is committed to business as
ministry. He and I are on a global business affiliate team that mentors business owners in Jacmel
Haiti. We are also actively working with Living Water International and their Orality – Bible Storying
movement efforts. We have become level 1 certified to train and teach during their Orality Training
Workshops.
Through all of my activities with David, I have learned a great deal about him personally. He is a very
compassionate person and truly desires to help others in whatever capacity he can. He feels called to
utilize the talents and resources that he has been blessed with as the platform to lift up those
around him. I am thankful that I can call him a friend. I look forward to the future endeavors that
we will encounter together and the opportunities that we will have to serve and share our faith with
those that we encounter.
