Responsible for the overall regulatory and environmental compliance of twelve
manned and seventy unmanned Transmission and Distribution (T&D)
facilities/operations within central/southern California.
Effectively manage emergency and scheduled hazardous material (HAZMAT)
response and hazardous waste disposal utilizing EHSync (internal SAP database)
for twelve SCE facilities within six counties in California.
Perform employee training for hazardous waste management, transportation, and
disposal, spill prevention control and countermeasure (SPCC), hazard
communication, and hazardous material business plan (HMBP).
Facilitated hundreds of external agency inspections (CUPA, APCD, Fire) without

Project Management
Successfully oversaw SCEs environmental compliance for the San Joaquin Cross
Valley Loop Transmission Project, which consisted of the construction of a new 19
mile double-circuit 220 kilovolt transmission line.
Effectively developed T&Ds California Environmental Reporting System (CERS)
strategy for disclosure of over 900 HMBPs.
Developed T&Ds strategy to deploy portable equipment registration program (PERP)
regulated equipment to support construction and restoration work throughout SCEs
territory.
Oversee execution of construction Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP)
and operation and maintenance (O&M) 5-year storm water management plans
(SWMP) for multiple projects including Mascot and Columbine substations.
Emergency Response
24 hour disaster and HAZMAT spill response utilizing Incident Command System
(ICS) as incident commander (IC) and planning section chief (PSC).
Demonstrated ability to manage large/dynamic emergency incidents. Examples
include, 2008 Marek, Sesnon, Tea, Sayre, and Freeway Complex fires, 2009 Station
fire, 2010 Bull fire, 2012 Sand fire, 2014 French and Way fires.
Address and resolve customer concerns related to HAZMAT spill incidents and
property restoration.
Proven ability to lead line construction crews, natural and cultural resource (Arch/Bio)
personnel, emergency response vendors, and regulatory agencies throughout
