David J. O’Malley is Kroll Factual Data’s director of business development for Quality
Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC). Mr. O’Malley is responsible for initiating
new business opportunities and leading the planning, development, implementation
and evaluation of strategic business goals for QA/QC services and solutions. He also
participates in negotiating complex client agreements. As a seasoned professional
with more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry as well as risk
management, technology solutions and quality control initiatives, he also represents the
company in leading industry and trade associations.
Prior to joining Kroll Factual Data in 2012, Mr. O’Malley was with ACES Risk Management
Corp. (ARMCO) for a span of almost 20 years, most recently as its president. His
innovations and accomplishments in the QA/QC arena include launching the first Web-
based mortgage quality control system as well as directing ARMCO to be the first QC
company to enable real-time communications between QC departments and origination
departments within a QC software platform.
Earlier in his career, Mr. O’Malley was a sales account executive with the Ken Blanchard
Companies and a local area network manager with Globe Communications Corp.
Mr. O’Malley is a published author, whose articles have appeared in national trade
journals. He has also served on numerous industry-related panels and has made
frequent presentations to professional and trade organizations on topics such as risk
management, QA/QC and the role of technology-driven solutions. He has been a
member of the National Mortgage Bankers Association, California Mortgage Banking
Association, Mortgage Quality Assurance Committee and the Florida Quality Council.
Mr. O’Malley has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science with an emphasis on
Computer Science and French from the University of South Florida. He primarily resides in
Florida and maintains a second home in Bogota, Colombia.
