ASSESSMENT OF SPECIFIC OPERATIONS
Provide your assessment of the following operational aspects of the chapter for the semester. Please
be as detailed as possible and remember that you can work with the chapter officers on any of these
areas that you feel you need more information on.
Recruitment
Have a better plan of what we need to do and how to approach promoting the fraternity to
potential members.
Professional Activities
Talked with VPPA to have events planned further in advance for members to plan.
Community Service
Continuing our current activities with adopt a highway and smartsnacks. As well as participating in the
soda tabs at LEAD.
Pledge Education and Initiation
Dylan has everything planned out for the first initiation in the Fall semester. Pledge mom is being discussed
currently and he has selected someone that I think is suitable.
Academic Achievement/Scholastics/Awards
We will start monitoring this starting in the fall semester.
Motivation/Participation of members
2. We have good participation currently and have found this is an issue with many chapters.
Faculty/Advisor relations
Have good presence with faculty and advisorat the time. The dean of the college is a supporterof our
presence.
Officer Transitions
Most officers remained in their positions.Two new officers in VPCO and VPSA have a good outlook for
the future of the chapter. VPPE is a brand new position for the Chapter and is undergood control.
Financial Operations
Chapter has approved increasing dues to $100 a semester and currently have about $530 in the account.
Joint chapter events
Have talked about doing an event with Beta Gamma chapterin the future.
Alumni Relations/Activities
Currenlty have 3 alumni and looking to perform special initation for Kelseigh Groth in the future.
Ritual in meetings and initiation
Getting used to having ritual during chapter. Everyone is adjusting well.
ISSUES/CONCERNS/QUESTIONS RAISED BY CHAPTER
No Issues brought at this time.
DD RECOMMENDATIONS & SUGGESTIONS
Provide any recommendations that you have concerning the chapter for the following:
Chapter Record better so we know who was at events and making sure chapter knows
requirements of membership.
National Officers Have been available to answer any questions and get back in a timely manner.
Central Office Staff Has done everything they can and are always available.
(Spring) Do you wish to continue in the role of DD for this chapter? Change chapters? Advance into
another role (Awards, Community Service, RVP…)?
RISK MANAGEMENT ISSUES
Dealing with non chapter events that become events due to the attendance being majority chapter
members.
