The European Commission deployed Vadis' risk monitoring tool Arachne to monitor over 2 million beneficiaries and 2 million operations being funded. Arachne helps identify risky funded projects, beneficiaries, contracts, and contractors that could be vulnerable to errors and fraud. It is an integrated data mining and enrichment tool developed by the Commission based on Vadis' flair product. The tool analyzes public and private data as well as the Commission's own data to provide predictive modeling, data matching, relationships, and over 100 risk indicators through a web interface and visualization dashboards.
