1. EXCLUSIVE

THE cottage where Prin-
cess Diana and James
Hewitt spent secret week-
ends has gone on sale for
£700,000.
It was owned by the
former Army major’s
mother Shirley during
the five-year affair.
The four-bedroom,
Grade II listed home in
Ebford, near Exeter, was
described as Di’s “haven
in Devon” by author
Anna Pasternak in her
book Princess in Love.
Royal commentator
Ingrid Seward said:
“Diana loved the feeling
of just being normal. One
of her favourite things
was to do the washing
up in her marigolds,
jeans and jumper — a bor-
ing thing for us, but she
was very meticulous and
loved to play house.
“She also went for
romantic walks with
Hewitt across Exmoor,
and loved walking on
her own too.
“His mother was often
at home, so I’m not sure
how romantic it was
with her there.”
Current owner Emma
Nicholls, 38, did not find
out about the link to
Diana until her second
viewing of the 17th-cen-
tury cottage.
The mum of two said:
“We had already fallen
in love with it.”

RIPPED Cosmo Taylor looks
each inch a professional
bodybuilder with his bulging
biceps — but he’s only 14.
The schoolboy is the UK’s
youngest competitive muscle-
man — and his trainer is his
bodybuilding dad.
He started training aged just 11,
does gruelling cardio every day
before school and a further hour of
weightlifting after lessons.
His diet is meticulously planned
and he is only allowed weekly
treats. The Sun’s doctor warns that
Cosmo’s lifestyle could be danger-
ous for a growing lad. But last
week he performed in a nationwide
competition in Aberdeen, where he
was two years under the guideline
age — and still came third.
Cosmo said: “My dad’s a body-
builder and he’s my inspiration.
“Ever since I was a little boy, all
I’ve wanted to do is step on stage.
“Dad has encouraged me every
step of the way — he’s my coach,
gym buddy and partner.
“My sister comes to the gym with
us too. She’s a competitive power
lifter and has won gold medals. I’m
lucky to have such a good support
network.” Mum Florence, 50, and
dad Andrew, 47, from Inverness in
the Scottish Highlands, reckon he
could be a top bodybuilder.
Florence says: “We are extremely
proud of Cosmo for having achieved
so much at such a young age.
“He is on a high-protein diet to
ensure he is the best he can be.
“Bodybuilding is a very unforgiv-
ing sport and every muscle must be
developed to demonstrate size, sym-
metry and condition.”
Cosmo added: “My friends at
school are fascinated by my phy-
sique because most of them haven’t
started going to the gym yet.
“Some of my male teachers laugh
and joke about how they’d love to
have a body like mine.”

GUIDELINES state even advanced
young athletes shouldn’t train more
than five times a week, so Cosmo’s
regime seems excessive.
Bodybuilding has benefits, but train-
ing has to be adapted to age and fit-
ness. Above all, youngsters need to
lead a balanced life, like anyone else.
