About Congregation Beth El
The Thelma K. Reisman Preschool of Beth El in South Orange, New Jersey is a play-
based school that has provided a warm, safe, relaxed and nurturing Jewish
environment for young children to grow and thrive for over 35 years. The Preschool
is part of a vibrant, diverse and rapidly growing congregation that attracts many
young families from the surrounding area. Our school provides classes for children
ages 12 months to 5 years old.

Qualified Candidates Have Experience:
- Working with children ages 2-5 years old, an extensive understanding of child
development and are able to develop age-appropriate curriculum.
- Creating and developing strong relationships with children in order to
observe/document learning.
- Establishing and maintaining respectful communication directly with
parents/colleagues.
Position Details
Lead Teacher
We are seeking two lead teachers for fall 2016. This position may also require some
early morning hours for children who are dropped off before school begins.
Possible Hours: 7:15am-12:00pm, 7:15am-2:30pm or 9:00am-2:30pm
Assistant Teacher
We are seeking two assistant teachers for fall 2016. This position may also require
some early morning hours for children who are dropped off before school begins.
Possible Hours: 7:15am-12:00pm, 7:15am-2:30pm or 9:00am-2:30pm
Extended Day Staff
We are seeking energetic, caring and nurturing staff to help expand our school day
and accommodate our wonderful families’ needs. We are looking for staff with
strong communication skills who will be responsible for interacting with parents at
the end of each day. (Great hours for college/grad students or anyone who works
earlier hours.)
Possible Hours: 2:00pm-6:30pm
