About Us
Caring Hands Animal Hospital is the leading local
premium animal hospital chain in the Washington DC
area. Now, the founder of the Washington DC area
hospitals, Dr. Michelle Vitulli, DVM, has created Caring
Hands Veterinary Group (CHVG). Dr. Vitulli graduated
from Cornell University, College of Veterinary
Medicine in 1991. Six years after graduating, she
opened her first veterinary hospital in 1997. She
currently owns 7 other practices with 5 partners in the
DC metro area.
Since successfully opening the first Caring Hands
location Dr. Vitulli has had a passion for helping
associate veterinarians overcome obstacles to
practice ownership. To further this mission Dr. Vitulli
recently founded CHVG to provide a path and
support for associates to become full-fledged
practice owners. CHVG helps guide aspiring owners
through ownership obstacles--ranging from finding a
new location, to obtaining business loans while
meeting other financial obligations, to concerns over
the business and management risks associated with
practice ownership. Currently, CHVG is actively
looking for associates to become owner-partners in
select locations.
