Personal Statement
A media Teacher, with experience teaching both BTEC Level 2,3 and A level media
studies to post 16 students. A very supportive person, who gives learners SMART
targets and suggested room for improvement. Experience teaching learners with
learning difficulties and able to adapt lessons to support various learning styles.
My Philosophy
Students should receive equal opportunities within education and that individual
learning styles should always be considered when planning course activities. I also
believe that students mixed abilities should be identified early and they should
receive their required level of support. Learners need to feel safe and happy within
the educational setting and given the opportunity to make a positive contribution to
their own work and feel confident that they can achieve.
