Offshore Experience:
I began working in the Oil Industry in 2005 with Noble Drilling as a Trainee Assistant Driller. This
traineeship consisted in fast-tracking through all the positions until I was promoted to Assistant
Driller. After that I kept working my way up to become Driller in 2010, and Tool Pusher in 2015.
In the beginning I was based on Conventional Jack Ups namely the Noble Kolskaya & Noble Piet
van Ede. As from 2009 onwards I have been working on Cyber Jack Ups. Basically I am familiar
with two types; JU2000E & Baker Pacific Class 375 5th
Generation Jack Ups. I have been based in
North Sea (Dutch and UK Waters) in in South East Asia (Malaysia, Thailand & Indonesia)
I have worked for various operators namely Wintershall, Gas de France, Shell, Petronas, PTTEP
and Total. While working for such operators, we were integrated in their Safety procedures and
Life Saving rules, thus building a strong safety culture.
Since I became driller, I have drilled a number of deep directional wells, Extended Reach Drilling
Wells, HPHT wells using MPD, Pressurised Mud Cap Drilling, Work over and Abandonment on
HPHT wells.
