The colour scheme is greyscale with lashings of red, with the red
appearing upon the mention of anything to do with Them Crooked
Vultures, implying their power and exclusivity in contrast to the
normal rock band. The first page of the spread consists completely
of a triple medium close up of three rock legends, Josh Homme,
Dave Grohl and John Paul Jones. Their costume is typically alt-rock;
buttoned shirts, necklaces and curious hairstyles. The second page
of the spread consists of heavy bouts of text. It maintains an
alternative vibe by not using conventions such as gutters, puffs and
drop caps. Instead, it fills two thirds of the page with a title in a
bold, sans serif display font. Then the font drastically changes from
sans serif display to a small, classic serif font as it delivers lines of
tongue in cheek humour.
