Guanajuato, Mexico has experienced significant growth in recent years due to foreign investment and trade. The state exports over $4.5 billion worth of goods annually to over 50 countries. Major industries driving growth include automotive, metal fabrication, footwear, appliances, and agriculture. The state capitalizes on its central location in Mexico, access to major highways, affordable and abundant labor pool, and business-friendly government incentives to attract investment. Key to its success are ten industrial corridors along major transportation routes that provide infrastructure and clustering of suppliers to support industries.
