1. An Overview of the Year 2016
The year of 2016 was full of inspiring cooperation for Cuppla Technology. During the past year,
we started three pilots in Finland. The feedback from students, teachers and other professionals
from the field of education has been indispensable for the development of Cuppla Software.
Cuppla Technology was accepted to the HundrED program together with Marja-Leena Bilund,
the Finnish ICT teacher of the year 2015, and the Urpola School from Mikkeli, Finland. In our
joint HundrED project, students work in small groups and utilize mobile devices, applications and
digital content in their research projects by using Cuppla software. Another highlight from the
past year was when Cuppla Technology successfully included bringing students’ own devices
(BYOD) to teaching during a pilot.
We are expecting great things from the coming year! Cuppla Technology will start its first
international pilots in January 2017. We are also exhibiting in the BETT Show in London from
January the 25th to 28th. Cuppla Technology will also have a stand in the Educa Fare in Helsinki
from January the 27th to 28th.
We want to warmly thank all of the people involved in the Cuppla journey during 2016.
