In 2017, the value of kitchen furniture production in Italy grew for the third consecutive year, reaching over 2,360 million Euro. In terms of volume, production reached 890 thousand kitchen units, with a 4.2% increase compared to the previous year. Consumption (including built-in appliances sold through this channel) reached a total value of 1,621 million Euro at factory prices (+3.5%). During the last three years, there has been a polarization pattern: the growth of the medium-low segment has been matched by an increase in the upper-end and luxury segments, mainly at the expense of the middle range segment, which saw its value decreased.
That is what emerges from XXXVI edition of CSIL Market Research "The Italian market for kitchen furniture". The report offers an in-deep analysis of the kitchen furniture sector, with data on market size and its segmentation, activity trend and forecasts, international trade, distribution and the competitive system.
