1. SCRABBLE!
• Blank Scrabble game board for vocabulary practice and review.
Students play in groups of 3-5, trying to gain the most points for
their words. Words can be written vertically or horizontally, but
NOT diagonally. New words must be connected to old ones.
• Students can pick any word they want, as long as it's at least four
letters long. They aren't limited by letters (unlike an actual Scrabble
game board where they draw tiles).
• The number of points earned is determined by the number in the
box. Add up the points for each letter to find out how much a word
is worth.
• Great as a quick game at the end of class or before a vocabulary
quiz!
