Does my financial adviser receive commissions from
product providers?
Financial Planning Services (other than credit advice and
insurance advice)
Since 1 July 2013, no commission can be paid from new financial
products. If you hold financial products that NCFS established
prior to 1 July 2013, NCFS may continue to receive ongoing
commissions in accordance with your agreed service mandate.
Credit Advice and Insurance Advice
The only exception to this restriction is for credit advice (ie
mortgage broking services) and insurance advice where
commissions can continue to be paid after 1 July 2013. If this is
applicable to your financial situation NCFS will work with you to
incorporate this into your agreed ongoing service mandate.
These costs will be separately disclosed to you before
implementing the recommended products.
Do you provide referrals for certain services
or receive referrals from other parties? If
so, what benefit do you receive from these
referrals?
We certainly arrange for referrals to suitable strategic partners
to facilitate certain aspects of our client’s financial affairs as
required.
I receive no referral fee for introducing my clients to another
provider of services unable to be provided by NCFS.
I conduct my financial planning activities under the registered
name Nexia Court Financial Solutions Pty Ltd.
If you would like to make an appointment to discuss your
financial needs and objectives in more detail, please feel free to

the associated cost, this scope of advice will provide details of
the formal contract. Fees are payable upon presentation of the
agreed Statement of Advice (SoA) document as stipulated in the
client service mandate.
Ongoing Advice

ensure the strategy and products they recommend continue to

adviser will agree the amount of the fee with you and record it
in your SoA. This fee may be deducted from your account each
month or payable directly to NCFS. Your financial adviser may
