College’s Cyber Pathways program.
The Cyber Pathways Across Maryland program is a US Department
of Labor funded program that seeks to increase the number of
students completing and earning a degree or certificate in the field of
cybersecurity. The program grant, awarded to Montgomery College
and 13 other community colleges in Maryland, will increase the pool
of skilled cyber workers and expand and enhance cyber training.
Through this program, students learn how to design, defend, and
respond to cyber threats so they can be career ready and enter the
growing field of cyber security.
This new program offers students:
• Individualized career counseling
• Distance learning options
• Exclusive internship opportunities
• Direct connection to employers who are currently hiring
