2. Martha Icaza and Sam Williams wanted to bring Nicaraguan
Cigars to their community of El Segundo and Manhattan
Beach, California. Sam Williams played four seasons in the
NBA from 1981 through 1985 with the Golden State Warriors
and the Philadelphia 76ers. He also serves on the NBA
retired players committee. Martha Lucia Icaza was born in
Managua, Nicaragua and is a true descendant of the lands
original native people who have been working with tobacco
for thousands of years, one could say it is in her blood to
hold a rolled tobacco leaf as she inhales it's delicious smoke
in front of a beautiful full moon. In her mixed Nahua
Niquirano lineage, her ancestors have mastered the craft of
tobacco use, from the rich cultivation to it's smoke cleansing
one's spirit.
