2. Giant tortoises
Seychelles giant tortoises live mainly
in the Aldabra conservation. The
Aldabra giant tortoise is one of the
largest species of tortoise on the
planet.
The weight of these sluggish giants
reaches 250 kg, and the size of the
shell up to 120 cm.
The neck of these turtles is able to
stretch out of the shell per meter.
3. Seychelles saccoat
The Seychelles saccoat is a small bat, an
endangered species. In total there are
only 50-100 individuals left. The body
weight is only about 10 g, the length of
the forearm is 5.2-5.7 cm.
During the hunt, the saccoat is able to fly
zigzagly as high enough above the ground
- at the level of 15-20 m, and low - at 1.5-
2 m above the ground.
4. Fruit bat, or flying fox
Flying foxes are predominantly
nocturnal and twilight. They feed on
fruits and rarely active in the
daytime.
Fruit bats rest during the day in large
groups, up to 10 thousand
individuals.
You can see them hanging upside
down on tree branches, under the
eaves, on the ceilings of caves,
wrapping themselves in their own
wings.

In Seychelles live more than 20
species of lizards. Depending on the
type, they can be from 5 to 35 cm in
length. A distinctive feature of geckos
is the loud sound they emit, similar to
singing.
They have tenacious fingers, so they
easily hold on to vertical surfaces.
Geckos love heat, live in trees, rocks
and in caves and eat insects.
6. Grass frog
Body length 10-11 cm, weight - 22.7 g.
It lives among plants and feeds on
invertebrates: worms, flies, snails.
They show activity at dusk and at
night, and during the day they rush
under the snags and stumps. Grass
frogs catch the victim with a sticky
tongue.

representative of toothed whales. Its
length reaches 20 m. It feeds on fish
and mollusks.
Sperm whale can dive to a depth of
