I have a significant history record of 35 years in Finance, and wide experience in the areas of
Financial Management, including Statutory & Management Accounting, Taxation, Banking
Operations, Treasury and Taxation, Audit & Risk Management, Financial Planning & Reporting,
Marketing Finance, Strategic Planning & Insight, dealing with financial decisions business enterprises
make and the tools and analysis used to make these decisions. During my entire career I have
managed various teams sizing up to 100 direct and indirect reports.
During the past 8 years I have been working in different senior management roles the field of
Finance Shared Services.
I have also managed significant business Transformation and Transition projects and initiatives.
I am a certified practitioner in the Prince 2 project management methodology and I have successfully
acted as a Program/Project Manager for significant initiatives aiming to transform and optimize
restructure the business towards a world class finance organization and I have lead projects aiming to
leverage various finance and non-finance business opportunities e.g. successful deployment of a new
commercial model (direct distribution) in Bulgaria, implementing cross border tax optimization
arrangements, smart excise & VAT management & recovery, supply chain optimization, etc.
I was also Project Manager for the SAP ERP implementations in Romania and Bulgaria and I have
a solid understanding of the SAP key functionalities and dependency to other supporting IT platforms.
I was involved in developing new transactional finance process standards for Group Finance Shared
Services as well as leading the successful implementation of such standards in the end-markets. I
have been directly involved in the development of the Business Performance Management
Framework and Process Design & Optimization and lead the implementation of the existing
Governance for Finance Shared Services.
My main responsibilities covered planning, and co-ordination of all activities related to creating,
developing and implementing the appropriate infrastructure, business processes, ERP systems,
organization design, staff recruitment and knowledge transfer to enable migration of existing and new
business entities/end markets to Shared Services.
I have also been responsible for the Service Delivery, which is designed to define an operational
framework for the Finance Shared Services Centre to provide efficient, high quality services to the
Customers. This also includes tracking the service performance levels achieved and to ensure that
the results will be made available to the Customer on a regular basis and will also establish the
appropriate both the general FSSC responsibilities as well as the general customer responsibilities,
together with the appropriate service level KPIs.
