My partner and I worked with seeds fromherfirst Arabidopsis thalianageneration ofplants. The
first generation was testedto determine how ithandled serpentinesoil, and the second generation
was tested tosee how itwould tolerateNickel inthesoil. Resultshowed that the plants could only
tolerate the 25 μm ofNickel as theplants grewshorter anddied at 50 μm.

on its leaves whiletheleaves left intwenty-four hours oflight showed theleast necrosis matching my hypothesis.
