2. Audience interests online
• Overall, the average Gen Z person consumes 8+ hours a day online, this could be from browsing social media, to work on computer to online shopping. This is a very large as the average time
awake for a young adult is 8.5-10 hours. Meaning they are awake for around 15 hours so a little under half of their time awake is spent online.
• Over 95% of teens report they have a smartphone or have access to one. This is very important as for our project we want as many people to view it as possible so having such a dominant
percentage of people being active on smartphones is very good.
• Over 32% of Gen Z transactions happen on a mobile device. This statistic could come handy for the product we are planning to produce if we can make it an online product with just under 1/3 of
Gen Z being able/doing transactions over the phone.
• 33% of Gen Z were persuaded to buy something after seeing it on social media. Again, this is a very positive statistic as if we nail the advertisement correctly on social media, we could see a
positive return.
This chart suggest that Instagram is the leading social media platform when it
comes to brand exposure for businesses for Gen Z consumers. However, this
chart was made at the beginning of 2021 (January) and with the massive increase
in popularity this year TikTok could be challenging Instagram at the top of this chart.
3. • YouTube is the second highest popular form of social media network averaging whopping 2.3 billion streams each month alone (Statista, 2021(. Only short by the social media powerhouse that is
Facebook. The 2.3 billion streams that Statista reported are users who have log into the site at least once a month. Considering YouTube videos can also be viewed without using an account the
overall streams will be larger than 2.3 billion.
• Another very powerful stat for YouTube is it is the second-most popular search engine after Google. This is a very mind-blowing fact as YouTube is known to be mainly a search engine website
unlike the likes of Bing, Yahoo, AOL and Ask.com. Infact with all them combined they still don't receive more searches per month than YouTube.
• On average YouTube have 1 billion hours of play time each DAY. According to YouTube 2019. This is mind blowing and just shows how dominant YouTube really is in everyday life. According to
Oberlo that means if every person on earth watched a video on YouTube each person would have to watch a 8.4-minute video. This obviously includes LDC countries where access to the internet
and YouTube is very limited. This means the average intake for people in the UK would be much higher.
Another very powerful stat is on average there is
over 500 hours of videos uploaded to YouTube
every minute. This is mind blowing and just
shows how often YouTube is used not just for
views but also for publishing content for the
whole world to see.
Also looking at this image another statistic that is
massive is that 70% of YouTube views are
generated through mobile devices as an
alternate to watching on smart tvs and
computers etc.

8. This concept of a logo was designed on Adobe
Photoshop. The design is meant to reflect a simple but
affective style with standout colours and circle illusions
with the centre of the R being the core. The colour
green really stands out with it being such a bright
colour. The bold font style gives out a neat look to the
product.
For this design I used Adobe
Photoshop. The design gives a
circle illusion from the centre
outwards. The scattering of the
text gives out a edgy vibe similar to
optical illusions themselves. The
colour scheme is white and blue
which are two bright and stand out
colours.
