In an effort to help prevent and reduce the risks of cardiovascular diseases among Americans,
Composite Apps developed My Heart Plus —a personal heart health dashboard that integrates
Archimedes and SureScript API’s. My Heart Plus allows patients to better access their heart
health information, understand their risk levels, locate testing facilities, take action and engage
their peers in the same effort through the application’s resources.

2. How does work?
My Heart Plus uses a visually appealing, easy-to use interface that engages users with a
set of questions to collect their basic information and key biomarkers. These data are
transmitted to the Archimedes API and produces outputs according to the information and
biomarkers provided. We implemented all the business rules and developed My Heart
Plus to translate the Archimedes outputs into a dashboard with easily understandable
content that communicates each user’s risk levels in a personal manner . Additionally,
incorporating Surescript’s API allows users to conveniently locate their nearest testing
facilities when they need new or additional blood pressure and/or lipid screening. Please
refer to the next slide for screenshots of the dashboard and location mapper.

Begin your journey to better heart health by knowing and
understanding your vital heart information and risk levels.
Create a personalized profile with your health information
in a few easy steps then My Heart Plus will do the math
and inform you if you could be at risk of any
cardiovascular diseases.
Take Action
Take a proactive approach in improving your heart
health. Easily find your nearest service providers
and testing facilities to get more accurate figures
for your risk calculations. Let My Heart Plus guide
you and show you tips on how to improve your
test results and make lifestyle changes.

4. Key Features
Connect With Peers
Create a support group and share your progress with
your peers and community through Social Media and
other features. My Heart Plus includes commenting
and emailing functions as well as Facebook connectivity
to allow users to interact with friends and their
community members who have similar goals, struggles
and/or experiences.
Secure You Data*
Protect your health information from prying eyes. Keep your
personal data safe and secure within My Heart Plus through
log-in authentication.

5. Ideas for Future Implementation
Game Center Leaderboard will use gamification to encourage users to
become more proactive in making lifestyle changes and more
competitive in improving their heart health
Food and Exercise Journal will helps users keep a more accurate
record of their lifestyle changes and how it may correlate to an
increase or decrease in their risk levels
Security Log-in Authentication will protect users’ personal information
and keep their private medical information. Users will also be able to
log-in through My Heart Plus or their Facebook account
Side Bar Navigation will allow users to easily navigate through the
application, access different pages, and change their personal
application settings
