Cody J. Dye has extensive experience in education, sports leadership, and coaching. He earned a BS in Education and a BS in Sports Leadership and Management from Miami University, where he was involved in numerous campus activities including serving as Vice President of Phi Epsilon Kappa fraternity and conducting guided research. During and after college, Dye held several internships in athletic administration, sports ministry, and event promotion. Currently, he works as a University Resident Assistant at Miami University, mentoring and guiding students while planning programs and building community.

Intern with Miami University Football February 2013 – Current
-Worked in various roles throughout my time with two coaching staffs
-Maintained an Excel database for all opposing teams injuries, suspensions, players leaving
-Assist with finding and evaluating players in recruiting areas, aid equipment and coaching staff during practices, and
meet with recruits during game-day visits
Phi Epsilon Kappa Spring 2013 – Current
-Current Vice-President of Miami’s professional fraternity specializing in sport, nutrition, and health
-Organize and plan events for an organization that features approximately 90 registered member
-Communicate and cooperate closely with Oxford Parks and Recreation Department as primary charity
Guided Research Summer 2015 – Current
- Perform research under the instruction of Drs. Tracy Haynes and Katia Del Rio-Tsonis
- Worked in a lab that secured $1.8 million in funding for analyzing the chick embryo with regards to tissue regeneration
- Co-authored $750 grant proposal for a continuation of undergraduate research focusing on the Pi3k pathway
- Receive training to perform immunohistochemistries, use of a cryotome, microtome, and confocal microscope
University Resident Assistant August 2016 – Current
- Program, lead, mentor, and guide 32 students during their second year at Miami University
- Collaborate with 8 other RAs and 2 Resident Directors to effectively and efficiently run two dorm buildings
- Manage dorm funding to produce programs of interest, formulate and maintain a sense of community between
residents, initiate engagement on multiple fronts, and lead a Living Learning Community
Off-Campus Experiences:
Intern at Uncharted Waters Sports Ministry October 2015 – Current
- Promoted to Assistant Coach to assist in team leadership, business transactions, and overall efficiency of the operation
- Worked with Head Coach in leading team of college-aged interns to implement various sport camps across the country
- Fundraised $1,360 of personal monetary needs, which was over 200% of the minimum required
- Communicated with company leadership, other team members, and community members while working on
administrative duties, such as invoices, purchasing orders, etc. in addition to coaching football to youth ages 4 to 12
Intern at PLAY Today Ohio June 2014 – April 2016
-Work with an Ohio event website to update their sports page on a weekly basis
-Formulate and maintain a list of potential sponsors and business from various Ohio cities
-Find and promote numerous sports related events throughout Ohio
Intern with LaBrae and Lakeview High School Athletic Directors Winter 2013 & Winter 2014
- Worked alongside two experienced athletic directors while learning various aspects of the profession during two
consecutive winter breaks that lasted approximately 6 weeks each
- Assisted with a wide range of tasks that included: ticketing, marketing, OHSAA matters, student-athlete discipline,
administrative tasks, scheduling, and hospitality

-Established rapport and mentored 1,200 boys from Ohio in a 10-day camp designed and run by the American Legion
