Throughout his career in mobile and online social gaming, Jason Loia has focused on driving innovation in virtual goods based experiences. A former commissioned officer in the U.S. Coast Guard, he served as a Deck Watch Officer and Department Head aboard a high endurance cutter stationed out of Coast Guard Island in Alameda, California, and as Executive Officer of the Systems Support Unit for the West Coast fleet. Jason Loia joined the team at Lavastorm in 2000 and over the course of four years helped to create one of the first mobile game studios.
