Foreword
Greetings in Jesus Name! I'm so blessed that we are able to share this booklet with you. As
much as we would want to see you reach every place we can only but start wetting your
appetite. Much of what we have to give comes from living life in itself and allowing experience
to take us further. So will it be with you once you have fully gone through this booklet. We
hope to inspire you and lay a little foundation to a big house and encourage you to get more
of similar material after this to continually bless you in all things.
Our prayer is that of Paul to Philemon when he said that he wishes above all things that he
prosper and be in good health just as his soul prospers. Amen
In this booklet you will find me making mention of some scripture as reference. I would
encourage you to keep a bible handy so that you may be able to see for yourself if I'm talking
the truth or not. And as you find the truth in the bible it is our challenge to you to change in
line with what you have seen and read.
Make this part of your life's building blocks and continue to build on it. You will change and
would never want to be the same again. Enjoy your reading!

1. Your sin
A great truth has been shared by one of the worlds leading evangelists. He said that working
in a soap factory does not make you clean. Only if you apply the soap or use the soap to
become clean will it work.
Romans 3 verse 23 says that all have sinned and is far from the presence of the Lord.
So even if we attend church for our whole life, it would not make us clean. We all have sin to
deal with in our lives. That is the reason why I am so grateful to the Lord for His love and
promises.
Isaiah 1 verse 18 the Lord says, Come now and let us reason together; though your sin be as
red as scarlet it will be as white as wool.
God has given us a time on earth to reason with Him.. and today that time is yours! He
promised us that even if our sin is as red as scarlet (which cannot be removed from fabric
once it is colored), He will make us as white as wool. He will go beyond what is possible with
man and cleanse you from every encumbrance, every transgression and every iniquity.
Sin is the reason why people will not enter into the everlasting with the Lord. Sin is the reason
why so many of our family members that have gone before us have ended up in the place of
torment. Sin is the reason why people walk under a curse. Jesus said that if you walk in sin
you are a slave to sin. (John 8 verse 34)
But we can thank God today that He has sent us His only begotten Son, John 3 verse 16, that
whosoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life. Jesus said: “I am the
Door, anyone who comes by Me will be saved.” (John 10 verse 9) Jesus said: “I am the way,
the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father but by me.” (John 14 verse 6)
For God has given us a free gift – eternal life when we live our lives for Jesus (Romans 6
verse 23). In Jesus all of our wrongs are wiped out. It is cast into the sea of forgetfulness, yes,
your sins will no longer be remembered when you come to the saving knowledge of Jesus
Christ.
Every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord, to the glory of God the
Father. And so in these exhortations I invite you to surrender your whole heart, that you give
your whole life to Jesus. For now is the time in which you have reasoned with God. And He
lovingly made a way for you through the death and resurrection of His Son.
Now that you are ready to give everything...

2. Your repentance
Is there something that you would like to give away but nobody wants it, or ever had that
experience?
Yes, we see those things which does not benefit us in life and we then try our best to get rid
of it. Sometimes it is like a red stain that cannot be wiped out/washed out. When we struggle
with these things we begin to hate it because we profit nothing by it. So also is our sin. And
without help it is useless!
But there is good news! Someone has already offered to take whatever sin has been
weighing you down in life. In fact, He already paid the price in full! And believe me, when
someone offers to take something that I don't want, I will gladly give it without wanting it back.
So in your time of reasoning with the Lord, a trade takes place. You give Him all of your sin
and He gives you back His love and acceptance. Nothing you have done can stand in the way
of His love and acceptance if you give everything over to Him and allow Him to take it away
forever.
Jesus took the sin of the world upon Himself, yes even your sin was already taken to the
grave. Jesus gave His life that you might live! And in repentance, in turning away from your
sin, you accept that He has taken your sin upon Himself and gave you His love and
acceptance.
With the heart one believe unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto
salvation. (Romans 10 verse 10) That is how simple it is when you trade all your sorrows, all
you pain and all your shame. If you would confess the Lord Jesus with your mouth and
believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved! (Romans 10 verse
9)
In repentance (turning away from your sin) all your cares is upon Him for He cares for you.
The Lord said that He will take out your heart of stone (your heavy heart) and replace it with a
heart of flesh (a heart that can feel His love and embrace). (Ezekiel 36 verse 26) For He will
never show away anyone whose willing to come to Him.
When you ask Jesus to step into your heart, mind and life, you will never be the same again.
Everything you surrender over to Him is taken away through the cross. For He invited you
saying: “Come to me all you who are heavy laden and burdened and I will give you rest.”
(Matthew 11 verse 28) People only rest when they have no more work left to do.
The fighting and struggling to get rid of what has been tormenting you is dealt with when you
come to Jesus. For whosoever calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved! (Romans 10
verse 13)
Pray this prayer out loud: “Heavenly Father, I confess with my mouth and believe in my
heart that Jesus Christ is Lord and that You raised Him from the dead. Now I call upon your
name Lord, that I may be saved. Come into my heart, come into my life. Change me, deliver
me and set me free. Wash me with your Blood and I will be clean. Thank you for loving and
accepting me. Thank you for giving me the power today to be a child of God. Amen!”

3. Your new life
Allow me to say, “Welcome into the family of God!” I am so glad to know that you have made
Jesus the Lord of your life. It is the best decision that you will ever make in your lifetime. I
know that today that the angels are rejoicing in heaven because you came to Jesus Christ
with your whole heart. Today you have experienced the miracle of new life, all due to your
decision you have made to turn from your sin and accept Jesus as Lord. You are now my
family in the Lord and I receive you as such. Amen!
Now that you have accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior a new life begins. The scripture
says that if anyone is in Christ, all the old things have passed away and everything has been
made new. (2 Corinthians 5 verse 17) God does not look at you in the same way because He
does not see a sin smitten life anymore. He now sees you as His very own child. (John 1
verse 12)
In your new life with God things will be different. We do not do the things we used to do. Our
lives will from now onwards start to reflect a whole different character. You will see that the
person you were will fade out of your life and it will be evident to those around you. Some will
start asking about the change in your life and why you are so different all of a sudden, but that
is just God lovingly bringing you into the life He planned for you. (Jeremiah 29 verse 11)
In serving Jesus you will experience a whole lot of challenges and obstacles. People will have
questions and you won't have all the answers. I believe that this is the reason why you must
now belong to a good bible teaching church. You have to find a church where you are
comfortable in to be taught what the Word of God really says about living in this new life with
Christ. As you continue to learn and grow in the Lord from an infant to a child, things around
you will become easier to deal with and you'll have a better understanding about what the
Word of God teaches us.
My encouragement to people always is to continue to read the Word and pray. I believe it to
be the fundamentals of growing in your understanding concerning the step you have taken to
serve Jesus Christ. The two important things that helped me in my life growing as a believer
is reading the Bible – knowing what it says, and praying – speaking to God on a daily basis.
With Jesus as your foundation your house is built upon the solid rock.
There is a lot of good Christian music available and would benefit you a great deal to buy
some tapes, Cd's or DVD's. This will help you to build your faith as you sing to the Lord. Buy
some books to read that you may also learn more about the things you do not yet understand.
Paul says, “Beloved I pray that you prosper in all things and be in good health, just as your
soul prospers”. So in listening to good music and reading good books will only do you a world
of good. Amen!
Finally, some people may not like the change taking place in your life. They might not
necessarily agree with the step that you have taken, but they too will come to a place in their
lives when they will have to make this same decision. So you might lose some friend, but you
have gained a family! Friends might steer clear from you, but family is standing ready to
embrace you. So in this time of starting your walk with the Lord, be patient and allow Him to
do His own will and good pleasure in your life.

4. Your baptism
Have you been baptized? My mom tells me that I was baptized as a baby. In most cases we
find that people all over acknowledges this accept for those who has come out of the Muslim
and other beliefs. So in order for us to talk about baptism we have to look at what the Word of
God says and what we can learn from the past experiences concerning the baptism.
The word baptism is derived from the original Greek word which simply means to go
completely into the water. Now I know that as a baby I was baptized with water on my
forehead, but this does not take on the literal meaning the word has in its original language.
So in order for me to experience baptism I would then have to be immersed completely under
water. Have you had this experience?
The second thing I would like to look at is the pattern that is followed with baptism. In Acts 2
verse 38 Peter spoke boldly that day telling people to firstly repent of their sins and then be
baptized. Jesus also commanded the disciples in Matthew 28 verse 19 to firstly make
disciples and secondly baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son & Holy Spirit. So
baptism always follows repentance.
Paul spoke to us about baptism in Romans 6. The simple demonstration of baptism is one of
openly declaring that one has now laid to rest the old lifestyle and have taken up Christ.
Baptism signifies that you have laid to rest your old sinful nature, and now walk in the nature
and image of God through Jesus Christ. This is how the promise of God is fulfilled as written
in 2 Corinthians 5 verse 17; the old things have passed away and behold all has been made
new!
Baptism thus is the crowning of the Lord where you declare all of the above. You have been
washed from sin; come into a turning around of your life; and are indeed experiencing a new
life in Christ. This is all but just the preparation that God takes you through that you may
inherit all that He has for you. This step of obedience unto the Word of God opens the door to
Gods' unlimited power and ability in your life.
When you are raised up from the waters of baptism you are raised up in the very life of Jesus
Christ. You become the express image of Gods' Anointed One for your life is hidden in God in
Christ Jesus. You are raised up in the power and ability that God supplies for you to live by.
This is the reason why Paul said that it no longer him that lives but Christ lives in him. How
very true this is!
Yet the water baptism is not all that you will experience. John the Baptist talking to the crowd
about the coming Messiah, that the One coming after me will baptize you with the Holy Spirit
and with fire. So there is more to the grace that God has supplied us with. It is not just the gift
of salvation through Jesus Christ, but it is also the gift of the Holy Spirit. And so we must
become hungry to experience more of the saving grace of God.

5. The Holy Spirit infilling
As we discovered previously, we saw that there is a baptism of the Holy Spirit. This
outpouring of God's grace is available to all who hunger and thirst after righteousness for they
shall be filled. Matthew 5
In the book of Acts 2 verse 38 we see that Peter makes reference to the experience of
salvation. He leads us to a point where we know to repent from our sin and be baptized, also
to receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Indeed Jesus said that He will send us another Comforter,
the Spirit of Truth. (John 14 & 16) So being filled with the Holy Spirit is part of God's plan and
purpose for your life in salvation, Amen!
The Holy Spirit infilling comes by faith in the Lord Jesus, as He said that the world cannot see
Him neither receive Him. I'm so glad that every blessing from God is not determined by how
we feel, but by our faith, and if we are willing to believe God to fill us with the Holy Spirit, He
will. John the Baptist said that One is coming after me... He will baptize you with the Holy
Spirit and Fire. Matthew 3 verse 11
Receiving the Holy Spirit is not dependent upon the place but dependent upon the condition
of your heart. If you are willing to surrender yourself completely to God; accept His leading
and guidance in your life, you will be filled! It is dependent upon your desire for Jesus, the
love of our lives! And if you are willing and ready to say “I am Yours” he will receive you into
His embrace.
Jesus came to a well as written in John 7. He said that if you had asked me I would have
given you the living water that you may not thirst again. The Holy Spirit demonstrates the
active power of God in our lives. He renews, restores and revives! The Holy Spirit will
empower, teach and guide the believer into all truth.
In Acts 2 we see that when the Holy Spirit came down on the day of Pentecost, all the
believers was filled with the Spirit and started talking in other tongues. So the evidence of
being filled with the Holy Spirit is when you start speaking in other tongues. If you have not
had any experience in the speaking of tongues I would encourage you to find a good church
where the gifts of the Holy Spirit is active.
Jesus said in Acts 1 verse 8 that you shall receive power after that the Holy Spirit has come
upon you and you will be My witnesses... I believe that when we receive the Holy Spirit, we
receive the power of God to step out and make a difference in someones life, for you have
received the Power of God! The book of Hebrews teaches us in chapter 2 that we should not
neglect such a great salvation which God has confirmed with signs and wonders and
miracles. But that Jesus, the Captain of our salvation, declares “Here am I and the children
whom the Lord has given me; We are for signs and wonders in Israel from the Lord of Hosts.”
Isaiah 8 verse 18
I laid in my bed and said, “Jesus, baptize me with the Holy Spirit, with the evidence of
speaking in tongues”, and right there in my bed I was filled with the Holy Spirit and started
speaking in tongues. I believe that if you will ask Him today the Comforter will come and fill
your life as David said in Psalm 23, “My cup runs over.” Jesus stood with His disciples,
breathed upon them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit.” May such be your portion today.
Amen!

6. Your Faith
Matthew 17 verse 20 Jesus said that if you have faith like a mustard seed you will be able to
move mountains! A mustard seed is one of the smallest of seeds on earth but grows into a big
tree that provides shelter for all kinds of birds and animals. I would like to mention that you
are the salt of the earth and the light of the world. The well-being of those around you
depends off whether your salt is flavored and whether your light is shining.
You will start to believe God for little things and He will see you through and help you in your
weaknesses. He will establish you (seed taking root) in the faith. He will give you a
breakthrough (plant coming out of the ground). God will grow and mature you and keep you
for the rest of your life! He will make you fruitful that you may be able to be a blessing – your
life will change!
Paul teaches us in 2 Corinthians 5 verse 7 that our walk or daily living is that of faith! So every
day we need to apply the Word of God to our lives. Look at what God said in Joshua 1 verse
8. Wow! This is the fruits of remaining in the faith or simply put, BELIEVING GOD! And when
we reach our old age or when we are called to meet him in the sky our testimony will be that
of Paul in 2 Timothy 4 verse 7, That I have kept the faith. Amen!
Hebrews 11 gives us a little insight into what faith is. I would encourage you to study this
chapter on faith. Through it you will see in verse 1 that faith is, so we understand that it is in
present tense. Faith can be applied to every moment of every day because it is now and it is
an active part of our lives. Faith is what will bring about the things in our lives that we lack if
we are willing to trust God for whatever our needs may be; it is the substance of what we are
hoping for, the evidence of what we do not yet see.
Faith also brings you into right standing with God. When God commanded Abraham to kill his
only son Isaac, he said to the lad “Jehovah Jireh”, the Lord will provide. And in Hebrews we
see that it was because of Abraham's faith that it was accounted to him for righteousness or
right standing with God.
Again I will say that faith is accompanied by works, so you cannot say that you believe but live
a different lifestyle. James 2. If you say you believe then you must be able to show that you
have faith. Yet I understand that your mustard seed might still be growing. So as you continue
to submit to God, He will require more and more of you. In giving God more you will be able to
boldly say that God is able! What a testimony to have! God is my supply, my sustenance!
Faith is in your times of trouble a shield! When circumstances does not look as it is in your
favour you can rest assured that believing in God will quench every fiery dart of the enemy.
Ephesians 6. And this is what is so powerful of a believer that is filled with the Holy Spirit, that
when you speak in tongues, communicating to God (1 Corinthians 14), you are building
yourself up on the most holy faith (Jude 20). Faith with which you win the battles you face in
this life, hallelujah!
Faith builds up a testimony in your life and whenever faith is needed, you can overcome by
the Blood of the Lamb and the word of your testimony. So in the eternal words of Jesus, “Let
not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In my Father's house are
many mansions, ... I go to prepare a place for you.” John 14 verse 1 – 2
YOUR SALVATION REVEALED ©2007

7. Your Devotions
Spending time with God is the most important part of the believers life. A devotion is when
you spend time communicating with God. And when you communicate with someone that
person speaks back. So your devotions, your personal time with God is filled with
communication. The bible teaches us in Genesis that God came and spoke to Adam in the
cool of the day. This is normally how anyone builds a relationship – by communicating one
with another.
God created us to speak to us. It is His interest to have a relationship with you. The bible
describes our love relationship with the Lord as that of a husband and wife. (Ephesians 5)
The bible again makes reference to Jesus as our groom and we, the church, as the bride.
God wants to have fellowship with you and He wants to be with you, acknowledged by you on
a daily basis.
I know that we have such busy schedules during our day, so the best time really is to get up a
little earlier in the morning to make time for devotion. In this time you speak to God and give
Him yourself, that the rest of your day is consecrated/separated as holy unto the Lord. This
time of devotion is also a time in which you study the Word of God. You'll soon see how God
speaks to your heart through the verses you have read or studied during your time spent in
His presence.
Devotion is also called “quiet time”. This is simply to say that there is a time during your
conversing with God, that you actually keep quiet and listen to what He has to say to you.
People experience God speaking to them in different ways. For some it is a sense in their
heart; others will hear an audible voice; yet some receive visions and dreams. All of these can
also be experienced by you in various times of your life. Just as you spice up a relationship,
so God will spice up your life with new experiences in His presence.
I am so happy today to know that we can come to God with boldness, making our requests
known before His Throne of Grace and seeing Him come through for us at the point of our
need. (Hebrews 10 verses 19 - 23) Our prayer, praise and worship is like a sweet smelling
fragrance to Him... so with every moment of every day invite Him to come and be with you.
(Song of Songs 4 verse 16-20) It's like the old chorus goes, “I come to the garden alone...
And He walks with me and He talks with me, And He tells me I am His own...” Amen!
So make the most of every free moment to speak to God. Speak to Him all day long, and He
will be with you until the end.
One scripture has stuck in my heart and that is where Jesus said that many will come to Him
on that day and say “Lord, Lord”, but He will say depart from me for I do not know you. Now
that you have come into the faith of the Son of God it is your responsibility to make sure that
He has a personal relationship with you. And a personal relationship can only happen when
you are communicating to each other.
Finally, it is my hearts cry for the Lord that has kept me so far. It is my desire for Him that
makes our relationship work. Psalm 42 verse 1 “As a deer pants for the water, so my soul
longs after Thee.” Amen!

8. Tithes and Offerings
We as believers are commanded to observe everything that is written in the Word and be
mindful to do it. It was said to Joshua that if he will do this, his way will become prosperous.
(Joshua 1 verse 8) With this in mind I believe that one of the most powerful things you can do
as a believer in to take God at His Word and allow Him to pour out His blessing upon you, for
the blessing of the Lord makes rich and adds no sorrow to it.
In the book of Malachi chapter 3 we see that God speaks to is and asks “Will a man rob
God?” He then goes further to say, “Yet you rob Me in tithes and offerings.” Due to people not
giving God tithes and offerings they cannot experience the blessing that comes from God.
The windows of heaven remains closed to them and a curse has come upon their land. So
God is serious about tithes and offerings.
I believe God's principle behind the giving of tithes and offerings is one of showing respect,
affection (love) and submissiveness to the One who has created us. When we worship by
singing and dancing before the Lord it is usually extended with giving to God what rightfully
belongs to Him, and that is your love, time, respect, tithes and offerings. Amen! We see an
example of this at the birth of Jesus when the three wise men fell down and worshiped Him by
presenting to Him gifts.
In the book of Proverbs 3 verse 9 & 10 we see that we ought to honour the Lord with our first
fruits so that we may have our needs covered sufficiently. This is a principle, that we need to
give God our best, our first fruits of all of our increase. When we obey this principle from the
Word of God the rest will be prosperous. The only way we will be able to walk in the blessing
of God is by obedience to do all that He has commanded us to do.
Ecclesiastes 11 verse 4 says that if we observe the wind we will not sow, so we will never
reap a harvest. As long as the earth remains there will be a time to sow seed and a time to
reap a harvest. But if we would look to our circumstances and not do what is required of us
we will never be able to reap a harvest of God's blessing.
It is with this that I charge you with the following. (Luke 6 verse 38) “Give and it shall be given
to you, ... for with the same measure you use to measure it will be measured back to you.” (2
Corinthians 9 verse 6 to 10) “He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who
sows bountifully will also reap bountifully; ... God is not mocked, whatever a persons sows is
what that person will reap.
You and I are completely responsible for what level of providence we experience in our lives.
God's blessing over us will only be released in the same manner and fashion in which we
have released it to Him. That is why God loves a cheerful giver and do not want us to give out
of necessity or out of compulsion. Like I said earlier, when we give to God it is out of Love and
respect for all He has done in our lives.
So let us make a firm decision to give to God what belongs to God, the full tithe (which is ten
percent of your earnings or love gifts, etc.). Let us extend the Kingdom of God by giving
sacrificial offerings (sowing seed) into lives of people with love, peace, goodness, kindness,
joy, gifts, finances, etc. This will make your way prosperous. Amen!

9. Discover you gift
Everyone of us fits in somewhere. That is why it is so fitting to find a good bible teaching
church where you can become a part of and where you might fit in as a person. This you will
have to find through prayer and the leading of the Holy Spirit in your life. And when you fit in
somewhere, that is the place in which God will bring out your full potential as time goes on.
A pastor friend of mine used to teach and preach saying that your gift is the thing that you go
to sleep with each night and wake up to each morning. So your life will be filled with visions
and dreams of what exactly it is that you want to and love doing. So whatever it is that your
heart desires, submit it to God who is the one that instilled it in your life. Philippians 4 verse 8
I believe shows us what we should look to and strive for in life. Amen.
The very gift you have is a free gift of God. And we need to use our gift and administer God's
grace through our gifts in the lives of people. (1 Peter 4) You ultimately become the gift of
God to any person or environment you find yourself in. That is why the scripture says,
“Blessed are the feet of those who bring good news.” Your gift is an expression of who you
are and an exhibition of your life. Jesus said that a tree shall be known by it's fruit. Amen!
Gift can also be translated from Greek as present. So I'd like to think that God gave you as a
present in this world. Your life carries value, and that value is what God will use to bless you.
Proverbs says that your gift (who you are) will make room for you and bring you before great
men. Your very life is your sustenance. Each one of us is able to provide and provide very
well for ourselves and our loved ones. God has blessed you to be a blessing!
We do not only live in natural gifts but has also been graced of God with spiritual gifts.
Ephesians says: “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed
us with all spiritual blessing in the heavenly places.” So every blessing of God has become
available through us by His Spirit. That is why we are able to do all things through Christ who
gives us strength. Philippians 4 verse 13
Our gifts operate through the measure which God supplies us with as listed in Romans 12
verses 6-8, 1 Corinthians 12 from verse 27. Then there are more gifts working through us by
the power of the Holy Spirit as listed in 1 Corinthians 12 verse 4 – 11. Also Ephesians 4 verse
8 – 13 teaches us about gifts as men given to the church by Jesus Christ. So you are blessed
in every way possible to succeed and be a success in life. Amen!
Our lives should always seek to please God through what He has given us, graced us with
and made us to be. God must at all times receive the Glory due to His name for everything we
become and accomplish, for we do not do it in or by ourselves. Acts 17 verse 28, “In Him we
live and move and have our being.”
Our local assembly we worship with should be enriched to have us in their midst. Our worth
must be exercised, shared, freely given and God glorifying. One thing God showed me very
early in my life was 1 Peter 4 verse 11, “Whoever preaches, let it be with the words of God;
whoever serves, let it be with the strength that God supplies, so that in all things God may be
glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong glory and dominion forever and ever.” Amen!
I trust your live will be a blessing to all the nations of the world with this in mind!

10. Your Commission
Now that you have learned about the basic things in your new life in Christ, it would be helpful
to you to start sharing your experience with others. This is when you share your faith with
others that they too may believe and be saved. This is the time in which you will learn how
dependent you really are on the leading of God's Holy Spirit in your life. I encourage you to
testify to the goodness of God in your life.
As you learn and grow in the Lord, as we all do, you will make mistakes. These things you
need to see as learning curves and from experience you will grow wiser and gain
understanding. It helps to go for workshops that may help you and nurture you in what you set
out to do for the Lord. Everyone plays a vital role in the Kingdom of God. This is why Paul
said to Timothy, “Study to show yourself approved, a workman not needing to be ashamed,
rightly dividing the Word of Truth.” Simply put, know what you are talking about and do it right.
All of us are to adhere to the commands of Jesus Christ. And in His commands He has
commissioned us to continue His work on earth. Preachers normally say that we are the
hands and feet of Jesus. People will see Jesus through us as we continue to do what He has
told us to do. This is why it is important to know what Jesus said and have done. One thing
we are to keep in mind here is that Jesus said we will do greater things than He.
Matthew 28 verse 19 clearly gives a command from the Lord that every believer should
adhere to and become a part of. We are to make disciples, in other words – lead people to
Jesus and see them through until they are mature to handle this life and in turn do the same.
This involves seeing them through the process of being baptized, filled with the Holy Spirit,
released in their gifts and have become faithful witnesses of Christ Jesus.
Mark 16 from verse 16, “He said to them, "Go into the whole world and proclaim the
gospel to every creature. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved; whoever does not
believe will be condemned. These signs will accompany those who believe: in my name
they will drive out demons, they will speak new languages. They will pick up serpents
(with their hands), and if they drink any deadly thing, it will not harm them. They will lay
hands on the sick, and they will recover." So then the Lord Jesus, after he spoke to them,
was taken up into heaven and took his seat at the right hand of God. But they went forth and
preached everywhere, while the Lord worked with them and confirmed the word
through accompanying signs.”
I believe Jesus will be with you and will confirm His Lordship everywhere you go with
accompanying signs. Having obeyed God in this commission I have seen the sick healed right
in front of my eyes while praying for them. I have receive testimonies of HIV, cancer, ashma,
etc. being healed after I have prayed with people. If you will take Jesus at His Word and do as
He has commanded you to, you will see the mighty hand of God do miracles through you.
I believe in total submission and obedience to the Lord, and that means we need to do what
He has told us to do. And when we understand this, we get trained to do it and allow God to
use us as he has used other to bring us to salvation through Jesus Christ. Amen!
I'm excited to see what God is going to do through you!

Conclusion
I hope this book has inspired you to reach for the height, width, length, breadth and depth of
God. (Ephesians 5) I pray that the light of the Word of God have propelled you into seeking
out all of the glories God has in store for you. I'd like to leave you with Psalm 23 as a final
encouragement and hope it has the same new meaning in your life as it has in mine!
Psalm 23
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He makes me to lie down in green pastures: he leads me beside the still waters.
He restores my soul: he leads me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for You are
with me; Your rod and Your staff they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies: You anoint my head
with oil; my cup runs over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in
the house of the Lord forever.
God Bless! We LOVE you and trust to see you in heaven one day! Hallelujah!

  • 4. YOUR SALVATION REVEALED ©2007 A Prophets Edge Ministries publication Page 4 Foreword Greetings in Jesus Name! I'm so blessed that we are able to share this booklet with you. As much as we would want to see you reach every place we can only but start wetting your appetite. Much of what we have to give comes from living life in itself and allowing experience to take us further. So will it be with you once you have fully gone through this booklet. We hope to inspire you and lay a little foundation to a big house and encourage you to get more of similar material after this to continually bless you in all things. Our prayer is that of Paul to Philemon when he said that he wishes above all things that he prosper and be in good health just as his soul prospers. Amen In this booklet you will find me making mention of some scripture as reference. I would encourage you to keep a bible handy so that you may be able to see for yourself if I'm talking the truth or not. And as you find the truth in the bible it is our challenge to you to change in line with what you have seen and read. Make this part of your life's building blocks and continue to build on it. You will change and would never want to be the same again. Enjoy your reading!
  • 5. YOUR SALVATION REVEALED ©2007 A Prophets Edge Ministries publication Page 5 1. Your sin A great truth has been shared by one of the worlds leading evangelists. He said that working in a soap factory does not make you clean. Only if you apply the soap or use the soap to become clean will it work. Romans 3 verse 23 says that all have sinned and is far from the presence of the Lord. So even if we attend church for our whole life, it would not make us clean. We all have sin to deal with in our lives. That is the reason why I am so grateful to the Lord for His love and promises. Isaiah 1 verse 18 the Lord says, Come now and let us reason together; though your sin be as red as scarlet it will be as white as wool. God has given us a time on earth to reason with Him.. and today that time is yours! He promised us that even if our sin is as red as scarlet (which cannot be removed from fabric once it is colored), He will make us as white as wool. He will go beyond what is possible with man and cleanse you from every encumbrance, every transgression and every iniquity. Sin is the reason why people will not enter into the everlasting with the Lord. Sin is the reason why so many of our family members that have gone before us have ended up in the place of torment. Sin is the reason why people walk under a curse. Jesus said that if you walk in sin you are a slave to sin. (John 8 verse 34) But we can thank God today that He has sent us His only begotten Son, John 3 verse 16, that whosoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life. Jesus said: “I am the Door, anyone who comes by Me will be saved.” (John 10 verse 9) Jesus said: “I am the way, the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father but by me.” (John 14 verse 6) For God has given us a free gift – eternal life when we live our lives for Jesus (Romans 6 verse 23). In Jesus all of our wrongs are wiped out. It is cast into the sea of forgetfulness, yes, your sins will no longer be remembered when you come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. And so in these exhortations I invite you to surrender your whole heart, that you give your whole life to Jesus. For now is the time in which you have reasoned with God. And He lovingly made a way for you through the death and resurrection of His Son. Now that you are ready to give everything...
  • 6. YOUR SALVATION REVEALED ©2007 A Prophets Edge Ministries publication Page 6 2. Your repentance Is there something that you would like to give away but nobody wants it, or ever had that experience? Yes, we see those things which does not benefit us in life and we then try our best to get rid of it. Sometimes it is like a red stain that cannot be wiped out/washed out. When we struggle with these things we begin to hate it because we profit nothing by it. So also is our sin. And without help it is useless! But there is good news! Someone has already offered to take whatever sin has been weighing you down in life. In fact, He already paid the price in full! And believe me, when someone offers to take something that I don't want, I will gladly give it without wanting it back. So in your time of reasoning with the Lord, a trade takes place. You give Him all of your sin and He gives you back His love and acceptance. Nothing you have done can stand in the way of His love and acceptance if you give everything over to Him and allow Him to take it away forever. Jesus took the sin of the world upon Himself, yes even your sin was already taken to the grave. Jesus gave His life that you might live! And in repentance, in turning away from your sin, you accept that He has taken your sin upon Himself and gave you His love and acceptance. With the heart one believe unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (Romans 10 verse 10) That is how simple it is when you trade all your sorrows, all you pain and all your shame. If you would confess the Lord Jesus with your mouth and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved! (Romans 10 verse 9) In repentance (turning away from your sin) all your cares is upon Him for He cares for you. The Lord said that He will take out your heart of stone (your heavy heart) and replace it with a heart of flesh (a heart that can feel His love and embrace). (Ezekiel 36 verse 26) For He will never show away anyone whose willing to come to Him. When you ask Jesus to step into your heart, mind and life, you will never be the same again. Everything you surrender over to Him is taken away through the cross. For He invited you saying: “Come to me all you who are heavy laden and burdened and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11 verse 28) People only rest when they have no more work left to do. The fighting and struggling to get rid of what has been tormenting you is dealt with when you come to Jesus. For whosoever calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved! (Romans 10 verse 13) Pray this prayer out loud: “Heavenly Father, I confess with my mouth and believe in my heart that Jesus Christ is Lord and that You raised Him from the dead. Now I call upon your name Lord, that I may be saved. Come into my heart, come into my life. Change me, deliver me and set me free. Wash me with your Blood and I will be clean. Thank you for loving and accepting me. Thank you for giving me the power today to be a child of God. Amen!”
  • 7. YOUR SALVATION REVEALED ©2007 A Prophets Edge Ministries publication Page 7 3. Your new life Allow me to say, “Welcome into the family of God!” I am so glad to know that you have made Jesus the Lord of your life. It is the best decision that you will ever make in your lifetime. I know that today that the angels are rejoicing in heaven because you came to Jesus Christ with your whole heart. Today you have experienced the miracle of new life, all due to your decision you have made to turn from your sin and accept Jesus as Lord. You are now my family in the Lord and I receive you as such. Amen! Now that you have accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior a new life begins. The scripture says that if anyone is in Christ, all the old things have passed away and everything has been made new. (2 Corinthians 5 verse 17) God does not look at you in the same way because He does not see a sin smitten life anymore. He now sees you as His very own child. (John 1 verse 12) In your new life with God things will be different. We do not do the things we used to do. Our lives will from now onwards start to reflect a whole different character. You will see that the person you were will fade out of your life and it will be evident to those around you. Some will start asking about the change in your life and why you are so different all of a sudden, but that is just God lovingly bringing you into the life He planned for you. (Jeremiah 29 verse 11) In serving Jesus you will experience a whole lot of challenges and obstacles. People will have questions and you won't have all the answers. I believe that this is the reason why you must now belong to a good bible teaching church. You have to find a church where you are comfortable in to be taught what the Word of God really says about living in this new life with Christ. As you continue to learn and grow in the Lord from an infant to a child, things around you will become easier to deal with and you'll have a better understanding about what the Word of God teaches us. My encouragement to people always is to continue to read the Word and pray. I believe it to be the fundamentals of growing in your understanding concerning the step you have taken to serve Jesus Christ. The two important things that helped me in my life growing as a believer is reading the Bible – knowing what it says, and praying – speaking to God on a daily basis. With Jesus as your foundation your house is built upon the solid rock. There is a lot of good Christian music available and would benefit you a great deal to buy some tapes, Cd's or DVD's. This will help you to build your faith as you sing to the Lord. Buy some books to read that you may also learn more about the things you do not yet understand. Paul says, “Beloved I pray that you prosper in all things and be in good health, just as your soul prospers”. So in listening to good music and reading good books will only do you a world of good. Amen! Finally, some people may not like the change taking place in your life. They might not necessarily agree with the step that you have taken, but they too will come to a place in their lives when they will have to make this same decision. So you might lose some friend, but you have gained a family! Friends might steer clear from you, but family is standing ready to embrace you. So in this time of starting your walk with the Lord, be patient and allow Him to do His own will and good pleasure in your life.
  • 8. YOUR SALVATION REVEALED ©2007 A Prophets Edge Ministries publication Page 8 4. Your baptism Have you been baptized? My mom tells me that I was baptized as a baby. In most cases we find that people all over acknowledges this accept for those who has come out of the Muslim and other beliefs. So in order for us to talk about baptism we have to look at what the Word of God says and what we can learn from the past experiences concerning the baptism. The word baptism is derived from the original Greek word which simply means to go completely into the water. Now I know that as a baby I was baptized with water on my forehead, but this does not take on the literal meaning the word has in its original language. So in order for me to experience baptism I would then have to be immersed completely under water. Have you had this experience? The second thing I would like to look at is the pattern that is followed with baptism. In Acts 2 verse 38 Peter spoke boldly that day telling people to firstly repent of their sins and then be baptized. Jesus also commanded the disciples in Matthew 28 verse 19 to firstly make disciples and secondly baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son & Holy Spirit. So baptism always follows repentance. Paul spoke to us about baptism in Romans 6. The simple demonstration of baptism is one of openly declaring that one has now laid to rest the old lifestyle and have taken up Christ. Baptism signifies that you have laid to rest your old sinful nature, and now walk in the nature and image of God through Jesus Christ. This is how the promise of God is fulfilled as written in 2 Corinthians 5 verse 17; the old things have passed away and behold all has been made new! Baptism thus is the crowning of the Lord where you declare all of the above. You have been washed from sin; come into a turning around of your life; and are indeed experiencing a new life in Christ. This is all but just the preparation that God takes you through that you may inherit all that He has for you. This step of obedience unto the Word of God opens the door to Gods' unlimited power and ability in your life. When you are raised up from the waters of baptism you are raised up in the very life of Jesus Christ. You become the express image of Gods' Anointed One for your life is hidden in God in Christ Jesus. You are raised up in the power and ability that God supplies for you to live by. This is the reason why Paul said that it no longer him that lives but Christ lives in him. How very true this is! Yet the water baptism is not all that you will experience. John the Baptist talking to the crowd about the coming Messiah, that the One coming after me will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire. So there is more to the grace that God has supplied us with. It is not just the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ, but it is also the gift of the Holy Spirit. And so we must become hungry to experience more of the saving grace of God.
  • 9. YOUR SALVATION REVEALED ©2007 A Prophets Edge Ministries publication Page 9 5. The Holy Spirit infilling As we discovered previously, we saw that there is a baptism of the Holy Spirit. This outpouring of God's grace is available to all who hunger and thirst after righteousness for they shall be filled. Matthew 5 In the book of Acts 2 verse 38 we see that Peter makes reference to the experience of salvation. He leads us to a point where we know to repent from our sin and be baptized, also to receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Indeed Jesus said that He will send us another Comforter, the Spirit of Truth. (John 14 & 16) So being filled with the Holy Spirit is part of God's plan and purpose for your life in salvation, Amen! The Holy Spirit infilling comes by faith in the Lord Jesus, as He said that the world cannot see Him neither receive Him. I'm so glad that every blessing from God is not determined by how we feel, but by our faith, and if we are willing to believe God to fill us with the Holy Spirit, He will. John the Baptist said that One is coming after me... He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and Fire. Matthew 3 verse 11 Receiving the Holy Spirit is not dependent upon the place but dependent upon the condition of your heart. If you are willing to surrender yourself completely to God; accept His leading and guidance in your life, you will be filled! It is dependent upon your desire for Jesus, the love of our lives! And if you are willing and ready to say “I am Yours” he will receive you into His embrace. Jesus came to a well as written in John 7. He said that if you had asked me I would have given you the living water that you may not thirst again. The Holy Spirit demonstrates the active power of God in our lives. He renews, restores and revives! The Holy Spirit will empower, teach and guide the believer into all truth. In Acts 2 we see that when the Holy Spirit came down on the day of Pentecost, all the believers was filled with the Spirit and started talking in other tongues. So the evidence of being filled with the Holy Spirit is when you start speaking in other tongues. If you have not had any experience in the speaking of tongues I would encourage you to find a good church where the gifts of the Holy Spirit is active. Jesus said in Acts 1 verse 8 that you shall receive power after that the Holy Spirit has come upon you and you will be My witnesses... I believe that when we receive the Holy Spirit, we receive the power of God to step out and make a difference in someones life, for you have received the Power of God! The book of Hebrews teaches us in chapter 2 that we should not neglect such a great salvation which God has confirmed with signs and wonders and miracles. But that Jesus, the Captain of our salvation, declares “Here am I and the children whom the Lord has given me; We are for signs and wonders in Israel from the Lord of Hosts.” Isaiah 8 verse 18 I laid in my bed and said, “Jesus, baptize me with the Holy Spirit, with the evidence of speaking in tongues”, and right there in my bed I was filled with the Holy Spirit and started speaking in tongues. I believe that if you will ask Him today the Comforter will come and fill your life as David said in Psalm 23, “My cup runs over.” Jesus stood with His disciples, breathed upon them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit.” May such be your portion today. Amen!

Your Faith Matthew 17 verse 20 Jesus said that if you have faith like a mustard seed you will be able to move mountains! A mustard seed is one of the smallest of seeds on earth but grows into a big tree that provides shelter for all kinds of birds and animals. I would like to mention that you are the salt of the earth and the light of the world. The well-being of those around you depends off whether your salt is flavored and whether your light is shining. You will start to believe God for little things and He will see you through and help you in your weaknesses. He will establish you (seed taking root) in the faith. He will give you a breakthrough (plant coming out of the ground). God will grow and mature you and keep you for the rest of your life! He will make you fruitful that you may be able to be a blessing – your life will change! Paul teaches us in 2 Corinthians 5 verse 7 that our walk or daily living is that of faith! So every day we need to apply the Word of God to our lives. Look at what God said in Joshua 1 verse 8. Wow! This is the fruits of remaining in the faith or simply put, BELIEVING GOD! And when we reach our old age or when we are called to meet him in the sky our testimony will be that of Paul in 2 Timothy 4 verse 7, That I have kept the faith. Amen! Hebrews 11 gives us a little insight into what faith is. I would encourage you to study this chapter on faith. Through it you will see in verse 1 that faith is, so we understand that it is in present tense. Faith can be applied to every moment of every day because it is now and it is an active part of our lives. Faith is what will bring about the things in our lives that we lack if we are willing to trust God for whatever our needs may be; it is the substance of what we are hoping for, the evidence of what we do not yet see. Faith also brings you into right standing with God. When God commanded Abraham to kill his only son Isaac, he said to the lad “Jehovah Jireh”, the Lord will provide. And in Hebrews we see that it was because of Abraham's faith that it was accounted to him for righteousness or right standing with God. Again I will say that faith is accompanied by works, so you cannot say that you believe but live a different lifestyle. James 2. If you say you believe then you must be able to show that you have faith. Yet I understand that your mustard seed might still be growing. So as you continue to submit to God, He will require more and more of you. In giving God more you will be able to boldly say that God is able! What a testimony to have! God is my supply, my sustenance! Faith is in your times of trouble a shield! When circumstances does not look as it is in your favour you can rest assured that believing in God will quench every fiery dart of the enemy. Ephesians 6. And this is what is so powerful of a believer that is filled with the Holy Spirit, that when you speak in tongues, communicating to God (1 Corinthians 14), you are building yourself up on the most holy faith (Jude 20). Faith with which you win the battles you face in this life, hallelujah! Faith builds up a testimony in your life and whenever faith is needed, you can overcome by the Blood of the Lamb and the word of your testimony. So in the eternal words of Jesus, “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In my Father's house are many mansions, ... I go to prepare a place for you.” John 14 verse 1 – 2
  • 11. YOUR SALVATION REVEALED ©2007 A Prophets Edge Ministries publication Page 11 7. Your Devotions Spending time with God is the most important part of the believers life. A devotion is when you spend time communicating with God. And when you communicate with someone that person speaks back. So your devotions, your personal time with God is filled with communication. The bible teaches us in Genesis that God came and spoke to Adam in the cool of the day. This is normally how anyone builds a relationship – by communicating one with another. God created us to speak to us. It is His interest to have a relationship with you. The bible describes our love relationship with the Lord as that of a husband and wife. (Ephesians 5) The bible again makes reference to Jesus as our groom and we, the church, as the bride. God wants to have fellowship with you and He wants to be with you, acknowledged by you on a daily basis. I know that we have such busy schedules during our day, so the best time really is to get up a little earlier in the morning to make time for devotion. In this time you speak to God and give Him yourself, that the rest of your day is consecrated/separated as holy unto the Lord. This time of devotion is also a time in which you study the Word of God. You'll soon see how God speaks to your heart through the verses you have read or studied during your time spent in His presence. Devotion is also called “quiet time”. This is simply to say that there is a time during your conversing with God, that you actually keep quiet and listen to what He has to say to you. People experience God speaking to them in different ways. For some it is a sense in their heart; others will hear an audible voice; yet some receive visions and dreams. All of these can also be experienced by you in various times of your life. Just as you spice up a relationship, so God will spice up your life with new experiences in His presence. I am so happy today to know that we can come to God with boldness, making our requests known before His Throne of Grace and seeing Him come through for us at the point of our need. (Hebrews 10 verses 19 - 23) Our prayer, praise and worship is like a sweet smelling fragrance to Him... so with every moment of every day invite Him to come and be with you. (Song of Songs 4 verse 16-20) It's like the old chorus goes, “I come to the garden alone... And He walks with me and He talks with me, And He tells me I am His own...” Amen! So make the most of every free moment to speak to God. Speak to Him all day long, and He will be with you until the end. One scripture has stuck in my heart and that is where Jesus said that many will come to Him on that day and say “Lord, Lord”, but He will say depart from me for I do not know you. Now that you have come into the faith of the Son of God it is your responsibility to make sure that He has a personal relationship with you. And a personal relationship can only happen when you are communicating to each other. Finally, it is my hearts cry for the Lord that has kept me so far. It is my desire for Him that makes our relationship work. Psalm 42 verse 1 “As a deer pants for the water, so my soul longs after Thee.” Amen!

Tithes and Offerings We as believers are commanded to observe everything that is written in the Word and be mindful to do it. It was said to Joshua that if he will do this, his way will become prosperous. (Joshua 1 verse 8) With this in mind I believe that one of the most powerful things you can do as a believer in to take God at His Word and allow Him to pour out His blessing upon you, for the blessing of the Lord makes rich and adds no sorrow to it. In the book of Malachi chapter 3 we see that God speaks to is and asks “Will a man rob God?” He then goes further to say, “Yet you rob Me in tithes and offerings.” Due to people not giving God tithes and offerings they cannot experience the blessing that comes from God. The windows of heaven remains closed to them and a curse has come upon their land. So God is serious about tithes and offerings. I believe God's principle behind the giving of tithes and offerings is one of showing respect, affection (love) and submissiveness to the One who has created us. When we worship by singing and dancing before the Lord it is usually extended with giving to God what rightfully belongs to Him, and that is your love, time, respect, tithes and offerings. Amen! We see an example of this at the birth of Jesus when the three wise men fell down and worshiped Him by presenting to Him gifts. In the book of Proverbs 3 verse 9 & 10 we see that we ought to honour the Lord with our first fruits so that we may have our needs covered sufficiently. This is a principle, that we need to give God our best, our first fruits of all of our increase. When we obey this principle from the Word of God the rest will be prosperous. The only way we will be able to walk in the blessing of God is by obedience to do all that He has commanded us to do. Ecclesiastes 11 verse 4 says that if we observe the wind we will not sow, so we will never reap a harvest. As long as the earth remains there will be a time to sow seed and a time to reap a harvest. But if we would look to our circumstances and not do what is required of us we will never be able to reap a harvest of God's blessing. It is with this that I charge you with the following. (Luke 6 verse 38) “Give and it shall be given to you, ... for with the same measure you use to measure it will be measured back to you.” (2 Corinthians 9 verse 6 to 10) “He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully; ... God is not mocked, whatever a persons sows is what that person will reap. You and I are completely responsible for what level of providence we experience in our lives. God's blessing over us will only be released in the same manner and fashion in which we have released it to Him. That is why God loves a cheerful giver and do not want us to give out of necessity or out of compulsion. Like I said earlier, when we give to God it is out of Love and respect for all He has done in our lives. So let us make a firm decision to give to God what belongs to God, the full tithe (which is ten percent of your earnings or love gifts, etc.). Let us extend the Kingdom of God by giving sacrificial offerings (sowing seed) into lives of people with love, peace, goodness, kindness, joy, gifts, finances, etc. This will make your way prosperous. Amen!
  • 13. YOUR SALVATION REVEALED ©2007 A Prophets Edge Ministries publication Page 13 9. Discover you gift Everyone of us fits in somewhere. That is why it is so fitting to find a good bible teaching church where you can become a part of and where you might fit in as a person. This you will have to find through prayer and the leading of the Holy Spirit in your life. And when you fit in somewhere, that is the place in which God will bring out your full potential as time goes on. A pastor friend of mine used to teach and preach saying that your gift is the thing that you go to sleep with each night and wake up to each morning. So your life will be filled with visions and dreams of what exactly it is that you want to and love doing. So whatever it is that your heart desires, submit it to God who is the one that instilled it in your life. Philippians 4 verse 8 I believe shows us what we should look to and strive for in life. Amen. The very gift you have is a free gift of God. And we need to use our gift and administer God's grace through our gifts in the lives of people. (1 Peter 4) You ultimately become the gift of God to any person or environment you find yourself in. That is why the scripture says, “Blessed are the feet of those who bring good news.” Your gift is an expression of who you are and an exhibition of your life. Jesus said that a tree shall be known by it's fruit. Amen! Gift can also be translated from Greek as present. So I'd like to think that God gave you as a present in this world. Your life carries value, and that value is what God will use to bless you. Proverbs says that your gift (who you are) will make room for you and bring you before great men. Your very life is your sustenance. Each one of us is able to provide and provide very well for ourselves and our loved ones. God has blessed you to be a blessing! We do not only live in natural gifts but has also been graced of God with spiritual gifts. Ephesians says: “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with all spiritual blessing in the heavenly places.” So every blessing of God has become available through us by His Spirit. That is why we are able to do all things through Christ who gives us strength. Philippians 4 verse 13 Our gifts operate through the measure which God supplies us with as listed in Romans 12 verses 6-8, 1 Corinthians 12 from verse 27. Then there are more gifts working through us by the power of the Holy Spirit as listed in 1 Corinthians 12 verse 4 – 11. Also Ephesians 4 verse 8 – 13 teaches us about gifts as men given to the church by Jesus Christ. So you are blessed in every way possible to succeed and be a success in life. Amen! Our lives should always seek to please God through what He has given us, graced us with and made us to be. God must at all times receive the Glory due to His name for everything we become and accomplish, for we do not do it in or by ourselves. Acts 17 verse 28, “In Him we live and move and have our being.” Our local assembly we worship with should be enriched to have us in their midst. Our worth must be exercised, shared, freely given and God glorifying. One thing God showed me very early in my life was 1 Peter 4 verse 11, “Whoever preaches, let it be with the words of God; whoever serves, let it be with the strength that God supplies, so that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong glory and dominion forever and ever.” Amen! I trust your live will be a blessing to all the nations of the world with this in mind!

Your Commission Now that you have learned about the basic things in your new life in Christ, it would be helpful to you to start sharing your experience with others. This is when you share your faith with others that they too may believe and be saved. This is the time in which you will learn how dependent you really are on the leading of God's Holy Spirit in your life. I encourage you to testify to the goodness of God in your life. As you learn and grow in the Lord, as we all do, you will make mistakes. These things you need to see as learning curves and from experience you will grow wiser and gain understanding. It helps to go for workshops that may help you and nurture you in what you set out to do for the Lord. Everyone plays a vital role in the Kingdom of God. This is why Paul said to Timothy, “Study to show yourself approved, a workman not needing to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth.” Simply put, know what you are talking about and do it right. All of us are to adhere to the commands of Jesus Christ. And in His commands He has commissioned us to continue His work on earth. Preachers normally say that we are the hands and feet of Jesus. People will see Jesus through us as we continue to do what He has told us to do. This is why it is important to know what Jesus said and have done. One thing we are to keep in mind here is that Jesus said we will do greater things than He. Matthew 28 verse 19 clearly gives a command from the Lord that every believer should adhere to and become a part of. We are to make disciples, in other words – lead people to Jesus and see them through until they are mature to handle this life and in turn do the same. This involves seeing them through the process of being baptized, filled with the Holy Spirit, released in their gifts and have become faithful witnesses of Christ Jesus. Mark 16 from verse 16, “He said to them, "Go into the whole world and proclaim the gospel to every creature. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved; whoever does not believe will be condemned. These signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will drive out demons, they will speak new languages. They will pick up serpents (with their hands), and if they drink any deadly thing, it will not harm them. They will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover." So then the Lord Jesus, after he spoke to them, was taken up into heaven and took his seat at the right hand of God. But they went forth and preached everywhere, while the Lord worked with them and confirmed the word through accompanying signs.” I believe Jesus will be with you and will confirm His Lordship everywhere you go with accompanying signs. Having obeyed God in this commission I have seen the sick healed right in front of my eyes while praying for them. I have receive testimonies of HIV, cancer, ashma, etc. being healed after I have prayed with people. If you will take Jesus at His Word and do as He has commanded you to, you will see the mighty hand of God do miracles through you. I believe in total submission and obedience to the Lord, and that means we need to do what He has told us to do. And when we understand this, we get trained to do it and allow God to use us as he has used other to bring us to salvation through Jesus Christ. Amen! I'm excited to see what God is going to do through you!
  • 15. YOUR SALVATION REVEALED ©2007 A Prophets Edge Ministries publication Page 15 Conclusion I hope this book has inspired you to reach for the height, width, length, breadth and depth of God. (Ephesians 5) I pray that the light of the Word of God have propelled you into seeking out all of the glories God has in store for you. I'd like to leave you with Psalm 23 as a final encouragement and hope it has the same new meaning in your life as it has in mine! Psalm 23 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me to lie down in green pastures: he leads me beside the still waters. He restores my soul: he leads me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies: You anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. God Bless! We LOVE you and trust to see you in heaven one day! Hallelujah!
