I am delighted to write a letter of recommendation on behalf of Clayton Echard, currently a valuable member of the
senior class of the University of Missouri Football Program. Please be advised that I had the good fortune to know
and work with Clayton over a period of the last several years.
Clayton originally joined the Mizzou Football program as a non-scholarship student-athlete. Since that time, Clayton
has exhibited and demonstrated tremendous tenacity, competitiveness, and leadership. These characteristics,
combined with the inherent intangibles of understanding the value of hard work and preparation, the ability to relate
to and interact with others, and the ability to keep athletics in the proper perspective enable Clayton to thrive during
what many would perceive are difficult times. Since the time he originally began with Mizzou Football, he has
parlayed the aforementioned traits to earn a football scholarship. Clayton always strives to be the best and, in my
opinion, he has been very successful. Clayton is a very personable young man, engaging, outgoing, and an excellent
communicator. He has great initiative and is very dedicated, with a tireless work ethic. His character is above
reproach.
Clayton is an exceptional student and an extremely active learner. He learns new material with ease and makes
insightful comments along the way. He is able to synthesize new information and apply it in a meaningful fashion.
Clayton is competent, caring, and compassionate with an excellent learning potential.
In short, Clayton Echard is a fine representative of the University of Missouri, and University of Missouri Football.
His personal attributes and varied background, both academic and personal, combine to strive for the pursuit of
