Business Objectives:
The company needed to improve business intelligence, cloud utilization, and customer
reporting capabilities by standardizing on a single instance of Salesforce company wide.
Challenges and Opportunities:
The company needed to consolidate more than a dozen disparate instances of Salesforce
covering more that 25 countries in EMEA. The company also needed to address regional
requirements for encrypting customer data in cloud as well as enforce its own policies for
protecting employee data.

Why CipherCloud:
CipherCloud for Salesforce enabled the company to implement granular field-level encryption
for customer and employee information within Salesforce without impacting usability and
reporting requirements. CipherCloud professional services was able to work with both
Salesforce and the SI partner to develop Salesforce data migration tools and best practices.
Implementation Highlights:
The Telco consolidated its Salesforce usage to a single Org consisting of 40,0000+
users. CipherCloud helped the Telco to encrypt more than 40 Salesforce fields
with AES 256-bit encryption. The Telco was able to standardize and centralize
operations and extend Salesforce to new lines of business previously restricted
from using the cloud.

Benefits
The new Salesforce implementation provided improved reporting and business
intelligence enabling the Telco to better understand its customers across all of EMEA.
The Telco also realized huge cost savings as a result of increased Salesforce utilization
and workforce efficiencies. The Telco also used the added data protection practices
