I have known Chynine Schapira and her husband for over 15 years and have during this time had the
opportunity to observe her considerable business related abilities and personal strengths. ln my
assessment her personal strengths include the following:
- Chynine is an intelligent woman who learns quickly and is an excellent communicator with
good natural business acumen.
- She has a confident very likable personality, relates well to people and is capable of
developing highly effective relationships with clients or customers. She is mature enough to

a team. I think too that Chynine's love of France and French people and culture will help her

A little about my own background may help give this reference context. I was for many years on the
Board of Directors of a large diverse retail group of companies and then my latter career was spent
London based as a senior global partner with the world's ldading business consulting firm. I advised
the Chief Executives and boards of directors of several of the biggest companies in America, Britain,
