12. Summary
• Affinity Domain:Technical Access Point and Platform for EPD
• Gemeinschaft: Organisational Community of Health Professionals and their
Organisations
• Stammgemeinschaft: Same as «Gemeinschaft» + Patient-Portal
• EPD-Architecture is dezentralised (not one but many Affinity Domains)
• Primary Systems who wants to connect to Affinity Domains have to implement
the IHE-Profiles themselves or can connect more easy via connectors like
BINTmed Adaptor without IHE-Knowledge
• BINT and partners can already demonstrate how a patient can upload his data to
EPD and a health professional can retrieve it from EPD and vice versa
20. Summary Projectathon Insights
• Test Cases are provided by ehealth Suisse/IHE
• In advance you register with what profiles and actors you take part at the Projectathon
• Before the Projectathon starts you have to run pre-tests against the Gazelle-Tool (Test environment from BAG) to assure
you are prepared to test against other participants
At the event itself:
• Choose a test you want to perform
• Choose a test partner from a list of partner who are able to perform this test
• Configure your system, so you can send a transaction to the partner you want to test with
• Start test
• If something went wrong- try to find out why and fix
• If it went as expected - copy the logfile and upload it to the test documentation, so a monitor can check, if test was
correct and is valid
