Next April my Institute for Peace and Prosperity will celebrate its five-year anniversary! It’s hard to believe that five years have passed since I left Congress to continue our Revolution outside the world of politics!
One thing I learned on the 2008 and 2012 campaign trail was that the liberty and peace movement is wider and deeper than I imagined. Thousands of young people cheered ideas that are as fresh as when this country was founded: Do not go abroad in search of monsters to destroy. Treat others as you wish to be treated yourself – whether you are an individual or a country.

Dear Friends:
Next April my Institute for Peace and Prosperity will celebrate its five-
year anniversary! It’s hard to believe that five years have passed since I
left Congress to continue our Revolution outside the world of politics!
One thing I learned on the 2008 and 2012 campaign trail was that the
liberty and peace movement is wider and deeper than I imagined.
Thousands of young people cheered ideas that are as fresh as when this
country was founded: Do not go abroad in search of monsters to
destroy. Treat others as you wish to be treated yourself – whether you
are an individual or a country.
But we also saw that the powers-that-be are not willing to let a
grassroots movement spoil their party without a fight. They didn’t want
to talk about how the Federal Reserve is the banker of our global
military empire. They didn’t want to talk about how all our unnecessary
wars of choice have made us less safe overseas and less free at home.
But that’s politics.
When I started my Institute I wasn’t sure how much support we might
receive. We set out to build a broad coalition to reject the neocon
foreign policy of endless wars abroad and endless attacks on our
privacy and civil liberties at home. I am so surprised and pleased by
how well my Institute has done.
And I am grateful for your support over these five years!
Your support for my Institute for Peace and Prosperity has made
possible our amazing growth in activities and influence, especially over
this past year.
What has your support for the Ron Paul Institute for Peace and
Prosperity made possible? This year we put on not one but two major
international conferences! Both were sold-out, standing-room-only
2. events.
The first was in April, with our friends at the Mises Institute, here in
Lake Jackson, TX. Billed as a symposium on foreign policy in the age
of Trump, as fate would have it the president lobbed 50-some missiles
into Syria the day before the event. That gave speakers like Rep.
Thomas Massie (R-KY), former US Rep. and former White House
Budget Director David Stockman, and Mises Institute Founder Lew
Rockwell plenty to talk about.
In September we held another sold-out conference in Washington, DC.
What an event it was!
We had incredible, world-renowned speakers like former UN weapons
inspector Scott Ritter. We hosted an historic panel of five of the most
important national security whistleblowers, including Thomas Drake,
Jesselyn Radack, and John Kiriakou. We were also joined by Wikileaks
founder Julian Assange, live from London, for a very special
presentation!
Our mission is policy change through education. We will change
Washington when we convince the American people to endorse peace
and prosperity over the failed interventionism of the deep state.
That is why we work so hard on the Ron Paul Liberty Report, broadcast
live every weekday. The Liberty Report has become a “must-see” news
program for hundreds of thousands worldwide.
In fact we have surpassed ten million views of our program so far!
Just this past year we have featured special guests Julian Assange,
Edward Snowden, "Black Swan" author Nasim Nicholas Taleb, Oliver
Stone, and many more.
You have probably read about how YouTube has done everything it
could to prevent us from helping pay for the program though
advertising. We have to battle with YouTube almost every day to get
them to allow us to monetize our show. They claim our discussions of a
real pro-America foreign policy of non-interventionism are " Not
suitable for most advertisers." Really?
3. We keep our costs to a minimum, but still there are expenses in
operating our broadcasting studio. YouTube is making it impossible to
meet those expenses. Can you help us keep the Liberty Report
alive with a tax-deductible donation?
We have big plans for 2018. But we can only achieve our goals with
your generous support.
What are you helping us achieve in 2018?
Two cutting-edge conferences to raise international attention to
our non-interventionist, peace and prosperity movement.
Building the audience for our daily news and opinion broadcast
and podcast, the Ron Paul Liberty Report.
Expansion of our major news and analysis website,
RonPaulInstitute.org, which publishes thousands of articles per
year. We are the “real-news” alternative to the mainstream
“fake news” media! Ideas move mountains, but we need to plant
them prodigiously!
Hundreds of international media appearances by Institute
personnel and advisors, making the case far and wide for peace
and liberty.
Plans to expand our publishing operation and to launch a
foreign affairs summer school for students. A “Young
Communicators” Fellowship Program. More exciting young
writers! And more!
We survive on a shoestring budget. Not a penny goes to waste. But
unlike the Beltway, war machine-funded think tanks our cupboard is
perpetually nearly bare. We do more with a few pennies than they do
with their millions. We work harder.
But we do need your support, now more than ever. Without it we will
be forced to close our doors. There is nothing the neocons would like
better!
