1. Biographical Sketch of PhD Chia-Long Wu
Chia-Long Wu was born in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, Republic of China, on Dec. 8th
, 1965.
He received his B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Chung Cheng Institute of
Technology, Taiwan, Republic of China, in 1988, and the M.S. degree in computer science
from the United States Air Force Institute of Technology, Dayton, Ohio in 1995. He
received his Ph.D. degree in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Chung
Cheng Institute of Technology, National Defense University, Taiwan(Republic of China)
in 2004. He served as the director of the Department of Avionics Electronics Engineering,
Chinese Air Force Institute of Technology(AFIT) in 2005-2006. He served as a colonel
and the director of the Department of Avionics Communication & Electronics in AFIT. He
is currently the full professor and the chair of Library and Information Center in AFIT,
Taiwan. He is the director of AFIT Laboratory of Cryptography and Information Security
and the chief of Computer Security Committee of Crisis Management Society of Taiwan
since 2004. Dr. Wu becomes the full Professor since Sept. 2010. He has been selected

Edition,).His research interests include information security, cryptography, number theory,
information system, algorithm design, complexity analysis and parallel computing.
