Researching alongside KimberlyUnderwood (Instructor of Sociology) to conduct research on the ways that genetic
counselors develop their counseling process and how this process affect individuals withinsociety with genetic
disabilities. Researchincludes developing an exploratory framework toinvestigate counselor-patient dynamic from the
counselor’s perspectives, conducting interviews, transcriptionof interviews, and literature analysis of previous studies.

United Students Against Sweatshops:
Worked with the Nation’s Largest Student-run organizationin activism, committedtostarting real social change inthe
communityand in the world. Lead student run organizing, participatedandorganizedfund-raising events, educated
fellowstudents for the cause of our organization, spoke to classrooms about activism andstudent involvement.
