• Contacted 240 fire departments throughout the twelve
southeastern states
• Surveyed training officers about their confined space crawling
training situation
• Key Takeaways:
• A majority of the departments contacted travel
greater than 50 miles to complete training
• State Fire Academies reported paying $250K+
for their mobile training solutions
