• Is a model that proposes humans
are organic information systems
that are constantly obtaining,
processing, and creating
information or knowledge in both
our professional and personal life.

cones intersect, a new

THE FOUNDATION OF KNOWLEDGE MODEL
Understanding a set of facts and the ways that information might be beneficial
in assisting a decision-making job is what knowledge is. Knowledge can be
gained through gathering data or information and considering how that
information can be used to a certain scenario.

IT IS OUR HIGH DEGREE OF KNOWLEDGE THAT...

• Individuals can manage knowledge.

ACQUIRING, PROCESSING, GENERATING,
AND DISSEMINATING KNOWLEDGE.

since we acquire, process, generate and
disseminate the knowledge gained from
sharing and re-exploring our knowledge base.
As others respond to our knowledge
dissemination and we acquire new knowledge,
we are engaged to re-think about and reflect
on our knowledge, processing, generating, and
then disseminating anew.

their knowledge base, as part of this
processing endeavor. They can then share
(disseminate) their new information with
colleagues and obtain feedback on what
they know.As others respond to their
information dissemination, they obtain
more knowledge, leading to increased
knowledge processing, generation, and

as the Knowledge Model's foundation.
